they have the same option everyone has, pick a soft top. just in their case, that means a different trim.
just a jilted badlands MIC order hoping his position in line isnt jumped.
The FE at least, I would say they have to. they are the only ones they cant push to 22my
not sure why they would prioritize WT orders though... I mean, why they would take them out of sequence and build it ahead of an earlier time stamp non-FE.
I switched my dual top to MIC top on Monday. I got my order preview from the dealer and it does show priority code 10.
Is that it? Im 100% for sure in the queue now?
I had a relatively early 9:50PM EST reservation, but I know its a MIC top so hoping I might get scheduled sooner rather than...
while I sympathize with you concern, and generally agree. I cant help you, because I did not order a soft top, nor do I have a build date, so not much I can ask for :)
with that said, has there even been a rumor of a aftermarket prep kit option to even purchase?
at very least I assume it...
I really want a soft top... like... the whole point of this car is for open air driving, and pulling off the cab section will not be a spur of the moment thing. soft top flips back with only 1 person, and stores in place. great for summer.
but for the winter months, I would rather have a hard...
hard agree with you.
They already promised the price, which is great. My only wish for Ford is maybe that they not change anything. keep the paint colors the same for 22 (or at least dont delete any), and maybe avoid the annual feature decay that seems to be hitting every car these days.
since I voluntarily shifted my 2nd position FE to a 22MY for dual tops months ago
Im just sitting back watching you all suffer. Join me you poor bastards!
I find imagining that early builds will suffer horrible quality issues helps me cope. Even if its a lie.
and if you roll in to order an Ford Edge, you'll get the same experience.
people on this forum are hyper focused on every delay, and this is why they dont normally do preorders. these sorts of delays and constraints are always present, but invisible to the customer.
maybe they should have...
Like... what will be the logistics of that? will the soft top ship to the dealer in a box separately? Will I need to go home and take the MIC top off and drive back to install the soft top to drive it home?
or will the soft top fit inside the cabin somehow?
well, the risk is if the car were in a fire, say. a house fire and its in the garage, it could become a fuel source. but of course so could a tank of gas, or a lithium battery.
Hydrogen would be a great option, but the real rub on hydrogen is the cost. the generator costs a fortune. More...
Its an extra $600 to add soft top. any reason why I should?
doesnt look like its the "fold back" version?
I assume if I would have to take the whole thing off to have any of it off, while the hard top can come off in pieces.
the hard top can be stored in the 4dr version, so portability...
no clue what ford credit rate will be, but I assume there wont be any APR incentives on the bronco for a while.
any good suggestions? bank of america looks like they go as low as 2.59%, doubt thats the best rate though.
