  1. Who's going the Hot Rod route?

Good topic! After seeing how good that fishing concept outer banks looks on stock suspension and wheels, an outer banks or below trim without the heavy bash plates/bumpers and a v6 option should make for a pretty fun “sport” model with lots of potential.
  2. Wildtrak Bronco Thread

Good thing about wildtrak is you get the heavy duty axles and advanced 4x4 so if you can temporarily live without heavier bumpers and bash plates (and permanently live without sway bar disconnect), most of the badlands perks can be added later. I have badlands reserved but may switch to...
  3. Bronco Outer Banks (Non Sasquatch) in Shadow Black All Polished Up

agreed, 4 door for me no matter what trim I end up with. I’m still planning badlands or wildtrak, but I could get much more convenience/tech with the loaded outer banks for less $. I just don’t love the 255 width tires and no lift, but could just update aftermarket too. Read they’re likely...
  4. Why no 33's on any trim besides badlands?

hearing the same thing that the Baja on the Raptor is everyone’s favorite mode. I’m just curious with all the heavy steel plates and bumpers, how effective it’ll work on the badlands, even with the 2.7L.
  5. Videos & pics: Even more Bronco prototypes converge on Moab + Rock Crawling Videos

So is it 2 panels up front, one over backseat, one over trunk and then the trunk frame? Would make it much easier to do with one person if that section over trunk also removes separately. Edit: found pictures and looks like trunk section is one piece. Nevermind!
  6. Badlands Bronco Thread

agreed. With those options you’re basically at the FE less safari bar, hard top and leather seats, so I would also assume $60k.
  7. Bronco Dealers: No-ADM, X-Plans & Special Discounts Master List

thanks for the update! I reserved at autonation in Westlake purely due to its proximity to me, but may decide to switch. I’m a first time ford customer.
  8. Outer Banks Bronco Thread

Not 100% sure, but I think that’s exactly the differences between those two models (minus wildtrak logos), so I’d assume same price.
  9. Anyone still on the fence without knowing final price and test driving?

The online build simulator will help a lot, but I’m certainly still deciding if I need a truck like this as my daily driver, including how many longer family trips we make to the in-laws.
  10. Question / opinion on financing

Based on low auto rates (2-3%), i would highly recommend against significant down payments on any vehicle. I know it feels better to have a lower payment, but making an extra payment each year significantly cuts into the already low interest costs and keeping funds in your account is much safer...
  11. Mall Crawler Equivalents...

Outer Banks is the trim based on tires and tech oriented features. Upgrade the engine and it’ll be a really fast, fun top off cruiser in my opinion. I reserved badlands but may switch to a less off-roading model now that I’ve had a few days to consider my actual uses.
  12. 'IDEAL' BUILD?

i reserved a badlands but now thinking the 32 inch tires of the outer banks and just adding the bigger engine, rear locking diff (no Sasquatch) and steel bumpers may make more sense for now. Can always upgrade later, right? :-) I also considered the wildtrak but didn’t really want the 35 inch...
