I blocked the entire surface with 150grit then primed then 150 blocked and 220 blocked then primed again then blocked with 320 and da with 400 and yes I blocked the most of the surface flat I used ppg 3055 primer

the mirrors were not textured just the flares and yes all parts are smooth finish now

the top should be fine so long as everything under the paint holds up which is the big question the deflector will take some abuse being up time will tell no one knows. my rear flares are getting some chips but paint is holding on.

1st pick new stick 2nd pick original dipstick the original one has the H the new has a triangle on the top also tried to get the numbers stamped in a picture also pretty much confusing to me and every one 😳 hopefully this helps 👍

the one I received is almost exactly the same length as my original one I posted a picture of them along side one another the new one was still in the package

1st picture is cold 7 quarts the 2nd pic is 7 quarts after warm up and setting for 10min it shouldn't be this rough to change oil but 7 quarts is okay range on this stick

yes the Same size as old one that is f4te did not open the one in the package but it should read in the hash marks this one is stamped mb3e-6750bc

so is this one wrong ordered using the same part number and got this they are the same length but the twist is up way higher

I'm in the process of painting mine now have the rear section to do have the other 3 pieces done it is a 4 door making all of them a smooth finish it is a process I will post more photos later
