I'm looking at my photos of the can & overland and the Area 51 looks about spot on. It looked about spot on in person too since they weren't that far apart. Unless he was comparing the color from when it was in the shaded area, and the cans are staged outside in the sun. So yeah, I disagree...

You know ... I didn't notice any "for sale" signs. The folks out there appear to be diehards, and don't think they would be willing to part with their rigs. Plus, this event is also a competition, so don't think there would be anyone advertising selling their rigs, but maybe thru word of mouth...

Not sure if someone had posted a similar video, but thought I would post this one just in case. Figured videos such as this are rare, at the moment, and the more of them the better. To note ... I believe the driver was 5'8 or so. Also, if not clear in the video .... that Bronco was crazy...

Thought I would share some of what I was able to capture while at the event & the drive in. I was getting excited to see some of the classics at the gas station, or at a restaurant, as I was driving and getting closer to the event location. But then to see all the classics that were already in...

I talked to one of the Ford guys there about this statement above, and he said "even if he knew that answer, he wouldn't be able to tell me". Judging from body language it seemed like he might have known something but that it didn't look like it was a possibility. Unless I'm surprised by some...

I personally didn't think they matched.

Seeing the color on the can, and also looking back at the past views of the color, makes more sense now to me. The color does change some in different lighting, but in the end and in mostly on the light, it's just ... concrete. I was really hoping for some whisper of green in it.

There may be a chance of it with this being a pre-production model ... and ... he was being careful with the seat movement. He also only wanted to demonstrate on the driver site, since the passenger side has issues making it difficult to move. So, could be a possibility with the tilt-up feature.
