I have taken my tracking dog into some gnarly places in side by sides. He has a small crate that he fits in. I can strap the crate to the seat or in the bed of the vehicle. I donāt want a big crate with lots of room around him. The roomier the crate, the more heād be slamming into the sides as...
Iāll reserve my final judgment until I see the price and all other details. But if Ford is trying to bring Wildtrak light performance to Base or Big Bend level trims and prices it in that $55k ish range with the Sasquatch and HOSS 3.0 I think itās a cool idea. A 2026 Big Bend, Avalanche Gray...
They replaced the 2.3 last year and that seemed to backup the MT broncos last year and cause the delays. But that backup seems to have ended. I saw a flood of MT dealer orders arrive by fall of 2025. And people ordering 2026 MT Broncos were given schedules in line with everyone else for early...
Are you looking at 2 door or 4 door Broncos? Iāve seen a number of 2 door Broncos that are owned for a couple of weeks according to the Carfax report. Thatās a big tax hit for a whatās essentially a rental.
You averaged 23 MPG in a V6 Basesquatch? Every used V6 Squatch 2 door Iāve looked at over the years showed 13.5 to 17.5 mpg on the dash. Ouch! If I traded in a V6 Squatch unicorn that got 23MPG, Iād be hurting too. I guess you can look at the bright side. You made the second buyer of your ā22...
Coasting to a stop in neutral, clutch in Iām assuming, the RPMs will be low to nonexistent. The light turned green, the vehicleās slow speed and snowy conditions call for a shift to 2nd, but the stick put it into 4th, so the engine naturally bogged down. After it bogged down, it wouldnāt do...
I do this all the time to see whatās out there which matches my desired specs. However, there isnāt jack for MT 2 door Broncos with a painted top and the front camera found in the Lux package. Granger had one in white at a great price but I couldnāt commit to the white on white. This morning...
I think it looks good. I like unique Broncos that stand out and yours definitely does that. Any chance you tracked the weight from beginning to āendā?
I priced a 2 door Armadillo painted top with rear windows and it was $8000! $8000?!? For a top that leaks? No thanks. 30 years ago I paid a few hundred dollars for a truck topper that had windows and it never leaked. As Vince Lombardi said, āWTH is going on out there?ā This aftermarket area...
Any painted top would be better than the MIC. I would probably choose the Shadow Black because the matching body color painted tops donāt always perfectly match the color of the bodies themselves. For whatever reason, I frequently notice slight differences between the tops and the body.
^ This right here. ^ We need to stop buying MIC topped Broncos or flat out tell the dealer weāre offering $5000+ less than we otherwise would because we know weāll have to spend that money on an aftermarket hard top down the line. Iāve mentioned my concern to salesman at multiple dealers. Not...
Iāll admit, I appreciated the ad. And you canāt order a Cactus Gray Big Bend anymore, so I guess theyāre covered on their claim that you canāt order it. Maybe they changed the add, but when I looked it didnāt claim the Bronco had a 2.7l manual transmission. It only said manual transmission...
Carfax updates their records when a vehicle gets washed, but maybe theyāre slow to record performed recalls. I donāt know. Iām a Ford fan. I just think they could do better.
Recalls are a big enough inconvenience to deal with that many people simply ignore the recalls or go to the extreme and trade in the vehicle and get a new one.
I presently have one vehicle capable of hauling me and my kid around. A vehicle is a necessity for me. I canāt leave it at the dealer...
If you have 2 to 3 new MT Broncos sitting on lots in your area, consider yourself lucky. Haha. I think thereās only one or two in my entire state. If I buy one from a dealerās stock, Iāll likely be flying there and driving it back.
Also, prices are coming down for 2025 Broncos, and the higher...
I used to trade my vehicles in, but in the last year things seem to have shifted where Iām at. Dealers are low balling badly, and places like Carvana easily make up for any trade-in tax savings. I keep my vehicles over 10 years, though.
