Bronco Mod....I should mention I did ceramic it. I think lighting is probably simplest for me to try (not the most mechanically inclined....know enough to be dangerous ).....build my ego up and make me feel like I know what the hell I'm doing
Never "modified" a vehicle in my life. Have taken my BL Sas off road a couple of times now and excited to do something to it just to get my feet wet. Thinking about something simple to get started. Lighting in the bumper seems logical and easy but also looking at compressor in the engine bay...
Yakima makes a nice system with extension to clear the spare. I'm not sure on weight limit. System is availavle through REI. I purchased the lower hitch mounted storage and upward extension. I have not added the basket yet but plan on it. Lower storage I had 3 sets of golf clubs and some...
Yeah, mats were out day 1 and haven't been back in so it's definitely not those. Thinking it could be prior comment of under rubberized floor or cabin filter. I can check filter while at work today and then floor later tonight or sometime this weekend. Just tough having beautiful vehicle that...
Anyone get water into interior floor yet? Took my BL Sas. offroad and sunk her to point where I got some water in through door. Admittedly fun, good test of floor drains, had get some help with my winch, etc. I have a buddy who does detailing so I took it in to get the inside cleaned up but...
Southington is great. Real friendly. Be prepared for lots of questions and people stopping you about your baby. I was only one down there and just about everyone wanted to talk/stop. Admittedly cool but also wanted to just ride too :)
@78Bronco can you give details on this Easter Egg event. Should we get there early? I signed waiver on-line so is that complete now. Any other “tips” for SOR? Thanks!
@Alpha1_Silverback saw that. Been tied up for last few weekends. Probably heading to Southington this weekend either Sat or Sunday but will keep crew posted if anyone wants to meet up if I make future trips. It's only 40 mins away so I can make it down there fairly quickly.
Does anyone know of trailer hitch mounted storage like a Thule transporter combi for a Bronco? I'm not sure if something like this will clear the spare tire. I haven't found an after market roof rack yet and I'm looking for extra storage for trips in the interim. Thanks in advance.
Maybe he didn't give you good context on that comment and meant you didn't necessarily need it and was trying to save you $$. I'm using it and have been for 3,000 miles. My choice, some are not using. Haven't seen issues either way. I wouldn't stress about it.
Classic Mentor was very good as well. Good team, no adjusted price BS but I also recognized there would be no negotiating on sticker. All's I told them was I wanted a good offer on my trade and they were more than fair on that end.
July 2020 reservation, January 2021 order, September build, November delivered. However I got caught up in the MIC fiasco and I did not convert to soft top and decided to wait it out.
Built to delivered was long for me (a month or so but it was hung up due to MIC). Shipped to delivered was a day (MAP--->Mentor, OH). Good luck, hang in there you're in the home stretch.
Want to reciprocate for Southington, OH. Have never been there so let me do some exploratory work but would be awesome to do a Bronco takeover down here.
Matt, we've hit the point in life (kids basically out of the house) we'll make it if we can. Wife and I agreed when we bought this thing, we were going to use it :). Please keep us in mind.
