I'm surprised by the count of reservations for one vs two! Granted, the sample poll numbers are small, but thought the two reservations would have had an easy lead.
That's correct ... which is why I was glad to see this color in person and in bright sunlight. That gave me its true color ... primer gray. Knowing that, I went back to past photos I downloaded to see how the color looks different via computer. More times than not, if I zoom in all the way...
Right ... and hopefully you're correct. The other keywords are "daytime" and "photos". This color in photos wants to come across as green, just like AMB comes across as black. But in person ... not even remotely close. Hope they get demo rigs out in time before orders with this color.
This is a very interesting topic choice as well as a poll.
Maybe to add to it .... did you make one or two reservations? If two reservations, then do you plan to convert both to orders?
I bet a comfortable "less than half" will covert both orders. In my opinion, Ford will be lucky to...
I hear ya ... and all I have to go by are the photos of the colors out in the sun. I do hope that Cactus has some kind of green in it!!! If it does then I'm all in. But if it's this gray color I saw in person, then no way. I have a feeling there will be a lot of shocked folks that order...
That's what I was a little shocked about! But then he pointed us to two photos, that happen to be the lightest colored photos of Cactus, saying this represents the color most. Those two photos look a lot like light gray to me. Just like Jerry-can photos with no color at all. Have a feeling...
Yeah, that was posted sometime back, maybe 1.5 months ago, and it turned out to be nothing. Some folks followed up on it and never got a call/info back in return. At this point ... wouldn't trust them anyway. Frankly, I wouldn't trust any dealer in GA with some ad-hoc last minute deal...
@the blue potato Dude, you just posted that Granger was too far away ?. Indeed they are, but I was going to reply to your post that group shipping from Granger is $450. So, you still save even after having it shipped. Hope that helps ...
@Granger Ford was also going to let us know if this was a possibility once they had the specs. I was hoping for the same, where they could make the changes to 33's on a BB before it gets shipped down to me. They might have that info now with the B&P up and going.
Normal as in "besides" the Cactus Gray jerry can that was shown at the SuperCel East event??? If this can color is correct, then the folks putting these colors up on display on the B&P are completely STONED!!!! There is no green and no blue colors ... just light concrete/grout color ... sadly!
Was it so tough to get a sample seat and dash to lay the samples out on so we can both see and comprehend in quick order? Looking at these things on a table doesn't do much to picture them in the rig ... grief. OK, bitching session is over ... carry on.
