Nice find but sad to see these gems neglected. To me the Scout is an older cousin to the Bronco and it was the first vehicle that I ever drove.

I had a very similar decision. I went and picked it up and drove it home. My Bronco had over 1150 miles on it when it entered my driveway. Great experience! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Good setup, I have a similar OBX but with the 2.3L. I have similar use case plans but I would recommend the Locking Rear Differential and upgraded gears. The cost is negligible and the confidence that it brings in sand (I'm in Florida) or other bad terrain is huge.

Did you see if the dealership can 99 or pause the order? They were able to do so last year.
