This is a concern of mine. I’ve been on the fence for a long time about getting a roof rack. My roof degradation was only getting worse so I felt like I needed to do something about it. It will be a puzzle for me to solve should I ever decide to get one.
I don’t know what the warranty is on this, to be honest. I’m not concerned about it coming off. They scuffed the surface and applied a primer first, so it’s on there for good.
