I would try a nut to chase the threads. (Find proper size at hardware store, please list here if you find it). I have to clean male threads at work often, I use a fitting or female threads to clean off the male threads.

I switched from a standard (plastic) bumper to modular and was able to use excising bracket and the same 3 bolts on each side. Should be the same for all 3 bumpers. If the tow rings are missing, you may need to purchase to complete the install.

@GearShade , Just received my order Monday. Ordered the enclosure/sub. The sub that came in my order was the 4ohm. (48CWRT84). Is this going to change the sound? Using the Kicker 500.1 amp. Just wanted to make sure I don't need to exchange.

I believe so. I reused the sensors and the wiring harness from the standard bumper in the mod bumper and everything works as it should.
