I haven’t driven the car around yet. You’re thinking the small lights would trip the BLIS being mounted on the bumper?? I’m not sure. I saw a few people had their Baja designs small lights mounted on top. So I felt confident. I was gonna mount antenna also on the bumper. I tell ya what...
The sub sounds pretty good. Gotta say. It literally fit so snug once I took the outter ring off. I put small foam tape on the bottom to seal the sub frame. Screwed it in with #8 course thread stainless flat head screws. I even took an old pillow apart to put poly stuffing inside. Did not...
Here’s my next step. Sub mod. I got my kicker 8” sub in the mail. Used skinny screw driver to pry the side adhesion off. Then worked around with a bigger screwdriver. It literally fits perfectly. No drilling or cutting the BnO sub box. Gotta hook it all up. But impressed so far.
Verifying the rear fog lights work after hooking it up. Got my extra basket to haul stuff to sites with. Coming along really nice. Adding trim paint to pretty much all frame surfaces just to increase the rust protection. Dielectric grease in all the connectors. I see most people just...
Welp. Drove to a local Ford dealership to purchase the trailer tow kit from them since my package was extremely delayed in PA for no known reason. Took less than 30 mins to hook bolt this all up. While I was there. I painted an extra layer of SEM Trim paint over everything. And wire loomed...
Yes. Once I swapped out the headlight switch that had front and rear fog light buttons. I turned on rear fogs in FORScan. And hooked it up to my rear lights now. Works great. Gotta have low amp draw. I think I’m less than 2 amps with both lights.
Wired up the rear fog light wiring in the corner pocket drivers side. It’s works great! Turn the car ACC ON or start and run. Turn on lights at headlight switch and then push the rear fog button. ;)
Adding my rear fog lights on the bumper. Found a small set that I’ve used on my Polaris Northstar. Lots of light. Intended to add more lighting off-road behind me. Backing up to trailers. Or at campsights. Simply taping into my rear fog light White/blue wire in the C424 connector.
Removing the main cabin floor piece is very easy. 8 (10mm bolts under the plastic caps) and it’ll come out. The side pieces are def sticky to the wall with the pop out fasteners used. But I didn’t break anything. I removed the seat flap middle piece first after the floor. Then removed both...
Hey! I am still. Still waiting (ordered Mar 6th from fordmotorparts.com ) I have not received it yet. However. I looked up my FordPass and I could have used my points to help pay for it BUT the transaction mandated a $196 service fee and I’ve read here that some dealerships don’t accept that...
Hey. I retired in Aug 2013 with 21 yrs 5 months 8 days. I was a CTOC (SW/AW/NAC/IDW) Chief , started out Cryptologic Tellicomunications Operator (a spook basically) for the first 13 years. Then I got forced converted to an ITC (Info Systems Tech) for the remainder. There was less than...
