    Utah Bronco Owners Unite!

Might be a late reply, but I've done some events with Wasatch Outlaw Wheelers, who are out of Ogden and they're good folks, too. They have a website and you can sign up - not sure about linking it here, but it's the first hit on a google search. :-)

    Utah Bronco Owners Unite!

Oh, man, I want to go! :-D
  3. Badlands, Sasquatch it?

My opinion, you're probably fine as is. I ordered just like yours and ran it all over the desert in Utah absolutely fine on the stock BFGs. I only started lifting (mildly, GRT Perch Collar lift) when I got to climbing up and down rocks in the mountains and Moab and the like. Frankly, choosing...
  4. Who's a 7/19 build?

The best part, the adventures! The worst part, how much money I've spent on gizmos! ETA: Took delivery 8/10/21, Looks like 18,948 miles to date

    Utah Bronco Owners Unite!

I spent the morning at not Outdoor Adventure X. There was a mishap, comedy of errors, etc., at the Ford dealership that left me with 3/4 of a lift kit, so I was in the lobby there while they removed the perch sleeve from the old blown out shock and put it on the new shock and then realigned the...
  6. Routing Power for Ham Radio

Seriously, there are just very few good places back there for mounting a radio unless you install something else and mount to it. I spent a lot of time just trying to figure out a good place and well, this is what I wound up with. :-)
  7. Routing Power for Ham Radio

Oh, hey! I did, actually - I originally mounted it just in front of the cargo area light, but I've since added in a Diabolical cargo enclosure (great enclosure, by the way) and have it mounted to the frame of the enclosure. It rattled a bit at first, but I fixed the rattle with a little bit of...

    Utah Bronco Owners Unite!

@TheKim I'm meaning to get out but I like to go with someone else, but... Mine's going in the shop tomorrow due to blown out shock absorber, so I hope they can find one nearby and not somewhere weird, like Memphis.
  9. Who's a 7/19 build?

Haha! So, today, I went to Dirt Tires and Donuts Garage in Park City, got a lift, discovered I have a blown up shock, so, hey, I'm not waiting, I'm just maintaining now! Glad to see this thread lives on like Frodo!

Oh, I have to miss it, I got tix for the wife and I to attend Outdoor Adventure X! Keep me posted on the next time, it would be great to see you again out on the trails! It's been a while!
  11. So I just received my assembly line photo…

Frankly, it's probably in a rail car somewhere. I thought I had an idea of how mine would get to Utah from Michigan, you know, shortest route, and all, but I was completely mistaken. It went south along the Missouri and Mississippi rivers, then across Texas, back up north to Wyoming, then...
  12. New 2023 Wildtrak owner and nightmares have begun from day 1

My recommendation is to find a dealer you trust and have them troubleshoot it. It might take them some time, depending on where the problem is. In my case, we tried the "usual suspects," which have been mentioned previously in this thread, but in the end, it turned out to be an electrical...

Wish I could make it! It's always fun with you! Alas, I'll be in TX visiting family this year! Have a blast for me!
  14. Weird Electrical Issues (not resolved - they're back)

I've narrowed it down to it seems to happen when it's wet, but it comes back periodically. The normal fix is to tighten the pins on a connector behind the glove compartment and apply dielectric to the seals on it, but that didn't help in my case. It might in yours, though. The dealer should...

Ha, yeah, he tried mine, but I don't have the nutserts in the roll cage that newer Broncos have. I'm old and missing parts.
  16. Pics from Bronco Celebration West Buena Vista - add yours!

Here's a video of you driving around in your 6G!

Ha! I see mine and one I helped swap a radiator out in those photos! Great times!
  18. Witnessed the infamous TIE ROD SNAP!

Yep, I was there and saw the carnage. Stock Badlands Squatch in the photo. Tie rod snappage. It made me paranoid for the rest of the day and I'm going to be putting a spare tie rod in my kit just in case.
  19. Miller Hill / Mineral Basin UT trip in my Badlands

Hi! Nothing, so far. They've been pretty okay and look pretty much the same. Even with the road salt from last winter, they haven't really deteriorated further, so until they really become a problem, I'm just visually inspecting them periodically. I was under there on Sunday and they looked...
  20. Matt's Offroad recovery of a Bronco in desert dunes

Looks like it's sagging, but I've had mine out in 115 or so degree UT heat a lot and the soft top has been just fine. It even did great in the snow. Only complaint I ever had with it was the latch mechanism on it, but I figured out how to fix that and it's all pretty okay now.
