Seriously, there are just very few good places back there for mounting a radio unless you install something else and mount to it. I spent a lot of time just trying to figure out a good place and well, this is what I wound up with. :-)

Looks like it's sagging, but I've had mine out in 115 or so degree UT heat a lot and the soft top has been just fine. It even did great in the snow. Only complaint I ever had with it was the latch mechanism on it, but I figured out how to fix that and it's all pretty okay now.
