The last several Ford trucks I owned had them on the right so I was surprised to see it was on the left on the Bronco..... a curve ball!

Interesting, I just find it awkward especially when driving with the left hand and operating something on the dash, gearshift etc. your left arm partially blocks the gauges. Guess I am old school.

My biggest worry is not being able to put an aftermarket bumper, winch and lights. No fog lights on the Badlands so have to figure that out along with a winch that does not effect all the sensors. I wish we could opt out of some of the tech on the higher options. I am purchasing an off road...

Absolutely! Some of Fords packaging is absurd forcing one to spend thousands to get a heated steering wheel, B&O stereo, no fog lights on BL, 12" screen and just look at the price of their trailer tow package. Makes me want to buy a jeep!
