Am I off my meds? What the hell is with shipping? I am looking at two boxes (two fenders per box) unless I Frankenstein the two boxes into one. The box dimensions are 20āx8āx50ā (4.6 cubic feet). The boxes are marketed as a āguitar boxā. The weight is probably 5lbs or so if I keep the...
I hadnāt thought of building a box. I need bubble wrap for sure. I can get that easily enough, but whatās the scoop with the shipping? I donāt have a UPS account. Is that important? Oh, and was $300 plus shipping acceptable?
Now, Iām no Tetris champion Iāll confess, but I canāt seem to fit more than two in that box. I didnāt weight them, but Iād bet youāre right that two are probably ~15 lbs. Hmm.
Okay, hereās the scoop: I have the four flares that appear in good shape. I hadnāt washed them before removal because Iām lazy, but I gave them a look over for any scratches or chips and didnāt find any. For whatever reason, I only saved one box (!) and will need to find another. The box is...
I really donāt know what shipping would be- I mean they arenāt heavy, but they are bulky. Galloway shipped two per a big honkin box, and I donāt know if I had the presence of mind to keep them. Let me go poke around in the garage and see if I was smart enough to keep those.
Oh, and if you need Sasquatch flares, those have a specific part number for the set of four, and could formerly be had for just over $400. I havenāt looked at the prices lately, but that single part number makes it convenient.
Well, because I have a gift for screwing things up with part numbers, I ended up a total of six flares when I wanted four. Hehehe. I have a Velocity Blue OBX and just donāt care for the painted fender flares, so I ordered regular black ones at about $135 or so each. I ordered from Sam...
yes- it was operator error on my end. As usual, I was trying to put a square peg in a round hole, figuratively. You can swap them without worry, provided you know- you are trying to swap a left front with a different left front, etc.
Iām back playing at https://lexica.art/ making more Bronco related goofiness. I asked for āFord Bronco jumping Snake Rover Canyonā and got the one up in the air. The other two were more of the same kind of request- Grand Canyon, Earth, etc. I love the wheels on the red Bronco- looks like a...
Thatās just freaking impressive. Fiberglass? Whatās the material you used? Are you near anyone with a 3D scanner? Iām betting a number of other Bronco owners would be interested in an alternative to the Mabett (not that there is anything wrong with the Mabett). Cheers!
KMC made a wheel I love that sounds like what you describe (the Roswell) but alas, they quit those a while ago, and while the Fifteen52 Analog seem kinda similar, there are so few choices remaining in this style. :(
I canāt recall exactly, but think theyāre loom wrapped together for a length anyway- no matter, theyāre close. I donāt worry about crosstalk or interference at this level, though it may exist in some measure.
