  3. Engine stopped dead deep on a trail (Fuel Pump Failure)

    My 22 Wildtrak fuel pump gave out the exact same way, on an incline with a lot of gas on the tank… Been warning folks for a long time now that these fuel pumps are duds and wheel with a lot of precautions because they are giving out and letting a lot of stranded in sketchy spots.

    Well hasn’t worked out yet, still waiting to get it back up and running. But yeah, lets hope that it was just that and our Broncos good out there. Soon as I get it, right back up to Cleghorn it is for the redemption.

    The dealer called me and said all sensors were good, that it was just a mechanical failure of the fuel pump. Nothing else, nothing more than that.     I finally got back home and tried to just the start the Bronco, nothing. Cranked starting to sound weak. Banged the fuel pump, moved some sensors around, nothing. Couldnt hear no sound from the fuel pump. Ford Service just picked her up…. Lets see what they say.

    No, I took off to Baja for the weekend. The Bronco was supposed to take me but damm thing stop working. I left it at home, ill be back tomorrow to check on the fuel pump. I will update you guys as I go.

    yes, i checked all fuses. Nothing loose. I looked al over under the Bronco to see if something disconnected, nothing. Everything is in place.
