Hey no problem. It's was just delivered a month ago. It was going to be marked up once available for sale but we had been there several times to send the build in. Due to sales manager on vacation and then the trouble with the system while ordering, he offered it to us for sticker.
Only thing...
True but this thing will be 95% on asphalt. Only time offroad will be the beach or on our farm heading to the pond. Didn't need all that extra HD parts.
The deposit was to hold it so I get first shot on the day it's available to sell. It's already at the dealer as a mannequin. The deposit will go towards the price.
Not sure about the particularly desirable option, seems the BB was the model that was stated to be the most economical with the add ons if someone didn't want a full out offroad vehicle.
I don't have to have a lot of fluff or bling, the bronco itself is what I'm buying it for.
It they didn't...
I kind of felt suspicious of it also. But he did offer the 21 cactus gray at sticker which was $2k less than my order. Maybe he just wanted a SAS on the lot to add $10k adm
So we went to my dealer today to process our BB w/ mid package today. Sales manager states they aren't able to order a 22 BB w/o SAS. Haven't seen that on the forums as of yet.
But..... they had a 21 BB std pkg w/o SAS. Manager said we could get it on Jan 26 if we put $500 deposit down. Only...
How do you figure that? I don't see anything at all wrong with it, especially if that's what the person wants.
Some don't need all the extras that Ford basically tries to push people into in the higher models.
I did the exact same thing but was told it couldn't be put in until Oct 28. Said there are 14 ahead of me. Not sure what that has to do with anything but maybe allocations play a part.
Honestly unless you're going to do alot of off reading, I don't think it's a big deal.
Some people have posted about loss of torque, straining the engine with taller tires. This thing isn't a sports car, I doubt you would be able to tell any difference in speed.
The 2.7 w/o sas has the same...
From the test drive on the 2.7 base w/35"s, I'd say do that. Engine had plenty of torque I felt. Plus 35"s look so good on the Bronco.
My concern was because I choose the 2.3.
Was wondering the same thing. Ordered a big bend w/o sas and wanted to run 33" or 35" tires. Going to have the 2.3 and will be 90% on road.
Test drive 2.7 base with 35" and it did pretty good. Has more torque than the 2.3 so not sure how much difference I would feel.
