Back in the day I wanted a Bronco but never ended up with one. Over the years I owned a couple of CJ5s, a K5 Blazer and K5 Jimmy. I would have bought a Wrangler long ago if they came with white hard tops so I was stoked that the Bronco was being brought back. I have to admit the gray top is a...
For a lot of people, perhaps most, Jeep is synonymous to open top 4x4s just as Kleenex is to tissue paper. It has been that way for decades. I've seen people refer to Broncos, FJ40s and even Samurais and Troopers as Jeeps.
It's gonna happen a lot.
I'm a little surprised anyone even cares about having or not having a front plate. It's required by law where I live so I have it on. So does almost everyone else around here and it is not something I even notice. All of my vehicles have always had a dedicated place for it on front and I am...
I don't get this either. I had planned on getting a Bronco with a white top and keeping my old Tundra. I'm not buying a Bronco with a gray or black top. If the white top is not offered I'll likely just trade my old truck in for a new Tundra and save myself a lot of money.
Thank you for the samples.
I love the classic blue shades on the old broncos but I am not a fan of these colors. I'll wait for a non-metallic blue or get something else.
Congrats on your selection, I hope you have a great time.
Please ask them if a light saddle or tan color option for the interior will be available. The dark bark blue/gray/black interiors are are a little limiting IMO.
I'll third the nomination on questioning about whether a white top...
Maybe that is why they are making it gray, because the black one is likely to fade like those bumpers?
But if fading is a concern why would they make it gray instead of white? White was the color of the classic Bronco top and white doesn't fade.
The decision to make the default top color...
I just looked and it is 82 degrees in Detroit right now. I suppose a dark interior and black/gray top would be fine there. A quick look at the temps in my world shows why a saddle/tan or light gray interior and a white top is preferable. I'm not buying a vehicle with a dark interior - I...
I concur and I'll raise you a white grill. A white top and white wheels are historically accurate and very handsome. As a bonus a white top reflects heat better and doesn't fade.
My only color requirement is a white top. It is hot where I live and to have the interior heat up the extra 15 or 20 degrees that a dark top absorbs is not for me. I'm not a fan of how some darker colors fade after a few years in the sun either.
I am not very enthusiastic about the colors...
