This diagram calls them "subs" but they are actually the rear speakers. According to crutchfield for the non-sony system w/touchscreen, the rear deck speakers are 4 ohm each.

No, I got it to work with JimV's instructions and I have Base model with base audio and sub delete.

I think $1000 or less is ok since you are using their Bronco and it includes a guest. I really enjoyed the experience in New Hampshire, and I wanted to try another one. But $2000? No way.

I have a Base Sasquatch 2 door + Modular Bumper. I believe I already have the front metal one (due to Mod Bumper) and I think the 2 door SAS has the fuel tank one, but not sure, and I haven't checked yet. Which skid plates am I missing that I can order from Ford Parts?

Ford does an early facelift on some vehicles even after 3 model years. 2015 Mustang was facelifted in 2018, for the worse, in my opinion.

Update: Just installed Hertz DCX 100.3 speakers in the front dash and rear pods. Wow, the difference is like night and day. I needed need to cut off two metal tabs on the Hertz speakers to fit in the rear pods. I did install 300Hz bass blockers for all 4 speakers but I think I will remove the...

My 2023 2 door Bronco has this - I realized it may actually part of the metal frame of the door. It's not a part I believe.

Did you have any bass distortion from the Kicker sub when the bass slider is in the middle (and volume is up)? I am wondering if I had one of the wires pop out by accident (or bad connection) when I was installing, since I am getting some distortion. I am not getting clear thumping.

I ordered Hertz DCX 100.3 speakers to replace the dash speakers and rear pods. I will keep the stock kick panel speakers. I also ordered 300 Hz cut off bass blockers (HPF). Will test first without bass blockers and after bass blockers (and full range to rear pods) and report back.

Is it possible to flatten the EQ without sending full signal to the rear pods? I'd prefer to just replace with drop in 4" speakers.

Today I installed the Kicker 48CWRT672 and the Fusion sub amp in my 2023 Basesquatch with the sub delete. The bass is obviously greater now, however, overall the sound system still does not sound great. I have not upgraded any of the other speakers yet - only added the Kicker sub and Fusion sub...

Wish I got an assembly line photo. Are they only sent to reservation holders? I was a walk in order. But at least I got my Bronco already.
