HAHAHA... I'll never know. My washing consists of driving through the Brushless car Wash. I'm too old for that "by hand" stuff.
Yeah, I think that the sandpaper-ish finish might catch most Linty kinda towels or gloves, but I won't ever know. I know this Bronco is a clever and unique...
Well, I needed to do something with all those mis-matched Grey roof panels. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the Paint thing or the Line-x. I finally decided that the time was NOW... and I'm glad to have finally made my choice.
I kinda decided (maybe a poor kinda decision), that I wanted to go...
I changed my non-Sas badlands, from !7" to 18". 9" wide rims, with a "0" offset. I removed the crash bars and added 35" Geolander X-AT tires, with a Zone 2"/1" lift level kit.
Sorry about being late to answer. Sometimes I need to work!
Bird dog is probably correct; however, I replaced my wheels and tires. I now have 9x18 wheels, with a "0" offset... meaning that the offset is enough to eliminate the need for spacers, with the ZONE UCA (I actually still have about...
I'm not sure if you've seen my recent post... which included my experience with the Zone 2"/1" lift/level. Personally, I would go with the Bilstein 6112 option, if I had it to do over again! I will include it in this response, so enjoy...
Me too... I've had that exact Yellow color on my mind, for these last two years. I finally picked up my Day 1 Reservation Badlands, and I'm not sure that I want to re-start!
Since it looks like you're in the business of alignment, I ask you to PLEASE take a minute to read and comment on the included Post (kinda related) that I created a couple days ago... It didn't get many views, so I didn't get feedback about my issues with Castor... or the solution by my aligner...
So, when I use the form, I have a problem. I enter the first couple pages of info, including the VIN, then the next page is prechecked foe 2wd. When I try to change it, it says that the model I have selected isn't available in 4wd! Stuck at that point!!!
If you're already going to add 1" spacers, then you're all done.
If you change wheels, with no spacer, then many people use a "0" offset to get a little poke.
OK... here's some more truth about these two common types of lift...
1. The PERCH style lift will leave you with a stiffer suspension; and
2. The Zone 2-1 hybrid lift and level, will have you chasing a fix for the geometry that's being altered (I picked the Zone):
I've already chased the...
Ha! The MORE PRICEY list is easy to remember, because it's pricey stuff!
RPG: Full Tie Rod Kit, with Boots (really nice stuff);
ADD: Rear Upper Arms (really nice stuff); and
BroncBuster: BroncBushing.
The LESS PRICEY list includes only stuff to get the job done!
ZONE: 2" to 1" Leveling Kit...
Thank you. I also just found this prior chart. I guess I'm still not smart enough to know alignment stuff, but wouldn't the reduction of a 1" rake... to a 1/2" rake also make a small difference (moving a bit of weight to the rear) or isn't that enough to care about?
