Here is my unsolicited over simplistically complicated dumbass theory:
1/3 builds went off without a hitch
1/10 builds went off without a hitch OR they hit the chip shortage at the end of that week.
Can't shut down the plant completely, that would waste time/money, so move on building 1/17 even...
I think until it says shipped, you cannot rely on the EDD...regardless of Tear Tag and built status...
Lots of horror stories on 1/17 week, at least a dozen pushed to Late April to Late May, but they also were the first to get chip holds I believe.
I found a newer version than the 430AM one, so restored that, we should have most of the changes up to around 1:30. That was the last change before the mass delete.
Was nervous at first about the full parking lot, but then really sat and thought about it. They are pumping out 1000's of Bronco's every week, of course they have to park them somewhere between QA and Shipping. Not a Ford apologist in the least, and they really have screwed over a bunch of...
You should come over and look at the 1/24 build week thread and the build spreadsheet. They are currently around 2.5 days behind, 1/26 blends should have finished today. Several of the 1/24's and 1/25's have EDD's already and all of 1/26 and prior on the thread have seen their mods pop.
