I just got done watching your video and think I found my spot. I think I'm gonna go with in behind the window switches in the center console. This way I don't have to drill the console out. I have extensions for all the cables.

Finally added some light to the lift gate glass and in the top. Now I can finally see what I'm doing back there!

I have the midland mxt275 I was going to install behind the glove box but just pulled it down for the first time and don't see a decent spot to mount it. Where is everyone else mounting theirs? I was trying to go for completely hidden if possible.

Mine just unscrewed by hand. I took it off to install a stubby, but I might take that off and just do a delete. I don't listen to regular radio anymore.

Mine will say the connection is unstable then just disconnect after a couple of times. I use the cord and everything is fine

It almost looks like you could slip this right over the JCR mount. If not it doesn't look like it would be hard to fab up something.

@Diabolical Inc any thoughts on if a hardtop with JCR offroad molle panels?

Just did Sourgrass over by Arnold on Monday and the conditions were great. It's a good beginner trail but the scenery is great.

It's hard to tell from the pics but do the mounting bolts go all the way through or if it uses 4 separate bolts
