  1. 4A vs 2H. Which gets better gas mileage?

I believe eco helps in stop and go conditions, probably not much or at all with constant higher speeds.
  2. 4A vs 2H. Which gets better gas mileage?

How you drive makes a huge difference. I use eco, accel easy and the last tank I hand figured matched the computer exactly, 20 mpg. That is admittedly unusual however the computer is very useful for comparison between fuel and different driving habits. BD 2.7 non-squatch. Can't see how 4m case...
  3. HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE?!?!

When the order banks first opened 1/21 it was said that it would be advantageous to order by 3/19/21. Res numbers were supposed to be important as well as allocations. All manufacturers use allocations so that big dealers can't monopolize sales. I was a 7/13 res and 3/12 order. Ordered from a...
  4. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

The classic Bronco I had ('72) had a one piece top that came off. It covered from windshield to tailgate. Anything but a gen 1 is cool but not a classic.
  5. Blinker fluid question

Don't use synthetic blinker fluid anymore. It is toxic and environmentally unsafe. Only natural stuff for me. kaleco auto a great source for that and many other things of this type.
  6. Bronco submerged in water during Maine high tide

Need to know, did the top leak?
  7. Ford delaying 2 door models as per Dealer

Didn't think that you could order before January '21.
  8. Ford to email that scheduled 2021 model year units will be ready for shipment by March 31, 2022

So shut down all production of vehicles that could be completed until all stuff is available for previous orders that things are not available for? That makes no sense from a business standpoint or any other. If they can at least come close to what they are saying (haven't done well with that...
  9. Custom Bronco Half Cab

So your '70 has side air bags?
  10. Is my wife right that I'm nuts, or am I brilliant??? Please gut check me!!

Didn't know that you could order in July 2020. Thought order banks opened in Jan 21 and best to be before 3/19/21 for a '21. Do you mean reserved? I reserved 7/14/20, ordered 3/12/21 and received 11/2/21.
  11. Diesel fuel filled in my 2.7 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch 😱

My daughter works for a Toyota dealer and they have a bulk tank onsite for gas to fill new and used vehicles on the lot. 3 weeks ago their fuel supplier put off road diesel in their tank (dyed fuel). No one noticed till cars started running bad. Someone dipped the tank and saw the dye. Enough...
  12. Sent er a bit too much... stuck in the snow

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS CARRY A SHOVEL IF YOU LEAVE THE PAVEMENT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT OF WORK BUT IT LOOKS LIKE YOU COULD HAVE DUG YOURSELF OUT. TRUST ME, THIS COMES FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
  13. 07/14 res no vin

When did you place your order?
  14. EDIT: I did something dumb in my Bronco today and really lucked out…Don’t mess with ice!

Sometimes a short walk is better to check things out rather than a lot of effort or a long walk to get out. Voice of experience. Learn from others, it's easier
  15. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

WHAT ARE THE PART NUMBERS AND BUILD DATES OF YOUR 2 2.7'S? I WOULD BELIEVE THAT ANY INTERNAL DIFFERENCES ARE MINIMAL BUT THERE COULD PROBABLY BE CONSIDERABLE EXTERNAL DIFFERENCES. THE ENGINES FOR DIFFERENT VEHICLES MAY BE ASSEMBLED ON DIFFERENT LINES. THIS MAY EXPLAIN WHY ONLY BRONCO'S SEEM TO...
  16. Bronco sinks into frozen river after ignoring Road Closed sign

Not like the old VW Beetle commercials. It will definitely float but will not float indefinitely.
  17. Bronco Trail Sight Delete – Test Fitting

Looks good but where will you tie down your deer?
  18. Auto Start Stop Eliminator Freebie

Just being curious while at a light with the engine off, I wanted to see how hard the steering was with the engine off. Low and behold, as soon as I gave the wheel a slight tug the engine started and didn't shut off. Really though, for me the auto stop is almost unnoticeable. Rather not have it...
  19. Limb Risers DIY

Looks like a good idea. Light brackets make a good attachment point for the top. If you remove regularly, try a spring on top instead of turnbuckle and link and use a carabiner on the bottom. They would come off even easier this way.
