  1. The official bronco wave 🤘

They cannot help wanting to be like the other guys.
  2. Bronco 2.7 blown engine

Exactly. There have been a handful of 2.7 issues, but folks are acting like it's every third one. We are probably nowhere near recall or even TSB territory, yet.
  3. Dealers WILL be held accountable by Ford for Bronco sales shenanigans

I tend to agree. The only reason for that last line is to get people talking. The dude wants attention, so he throws that mysterious little tidbit in there. Now, he is the important guy who holds the secret.
  4. Dealers WILL be held accountable by Ford for Bronco sales shenanigans

This one is easy. The folks who reserved those trucks walked away because of ridiculous ADMs. It isn't all that difficult to understand why you saw your exact build on a lot, either. It very well may have been an earlier reservation, than yours, that was walked away from.
  5. Dealers WILL be held accountable by Ford for Bronco sales shenanigans

Except Ford did not dupe anyone. People chose to interpret Ford's holding MSRP at the same level, for 2022 MY, as a guarantee of MSRP. Those same people also chose to ignore Ford, when they told us to negotiate a price with the dealer, before placing orders. Additionally, we knew from day one...
  6. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

When did I defend what the dealerships are doing? As for Ford corporate, they told us to negotiate the price, before placing our orders. They absolutely never implied that MSRP was the most anyone would pay. I'm amazed anyone thinks they did. If I remember correctly, Karen is the one who is...
  7. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

When did I defend the acts of shady dealerships? As for people on the forum not supporting me, I'm not so sure why that should bother me.
  8. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Nope. I simply recognize the futility of taking a "he said/she said" case to court.
  9. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Best Buy actually lists the sales price, for their products. Ford only lists the suggested retail price. Don't get me wrong. I think the dealerships charging ADM sucks, but the possibility it would happen has been discussed in this forum damn near daily, since launch.
  10. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Take it to court. See how far you get with that.
  11. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Unfortunately, Ford is not in the business of dictating the selling price for any vehicle. They do set a suggested retail price, but that's it. The dealership can ask any price they want to ask. Of course, we customers can and should negotiate a price that is favorable to us, and we can and...
  12. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Who promised it at MSRP, Ford Corporate or the dealership? The only promise I received was from my dealership. It was in writing, and they are honoring it. If the buyer does not have an agreed upon price, in writing and signed by the dealer, the buyer should have no expectation of a specific...
  13. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Define "with an understanding." Unless it is written down and the dealership had signed off on an agreed upon price, your understanding and the dealership's understanding may be many thousands of dollars apart.
  14. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

Al Ford said is that they will hold MSRP to 2021 prices, for reservation holders. They never said that the dealership you choose to do business with agree to MSRP. In fact, Ford said that we should all come to an agreement with our chosen dealership, before placing our orders. Ford does not...
  15. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

I was wrong. It was posted within a few days of launch. https://www.bronco6g.com/dont-pay-adm-on-your-2021-bronco-use-our-no-adm-x-plan-ford-dealers-list/
  16. Price Gouging @ Westway Ford Irving Texas

To be fair, most of us knew that MSRP was not a given and that ADM was a real possibility. Within just a few weeks of the reveal, there was a post, on this forum, that included a spreadsheet of known dealer pricing. Many of the dealers on that sheet were KNOWN to be including ADM. The suggestion...
  17. Ford couldn't care less about early reservation holders

I guess it depends on how you are using it. "Could care less" literally means that you do care, that you have some leveling of caring that is more than not caring at all. It's like drivinng with a quater tank of gas, versus sitting in the breakdown lane waiting for your wife to bring you a gas...
  18. Ford couldn't care less about early reservation holders

I am 100% okay with being wrong. I'd rather know what is right, than be wrong and think I am right. As you stated, it's all about learning. Unfortunately, many adhere to the trope, "ignorance is bliss."
  19. Ford couldn't care less about early reservation holders

Instead of correcting what is clearly wrong, they choose to embrace it. It's much easier, and no one gets their feelings hurt. Also, it's crazy how quickly one is labeled a "Nazi," for identifying incorrect grammar. That should tell you something about the collective desire to remain ignorant.
