Everyone’s use case is different. I bought mine with a soft top and have since switched to a Rally Top hard top. I loved being able to drop the soft top easily, however we love rural. Anywhere we drive, we take a 70mph highway. As our family vehicle, the soft top is louder and I rarely drive...
Do it! I treated this poor thing horribly. Big turbo, a pretty spicy E30 tune, and I drove it like I stole it. Best part is that it was still slow enough to do all of that without getting any felonies AND it happily ran on this setup for 50k miles without a single failure. I was sad to sell that...
It’s a feature, not a bug. Love it. I put a new exhaust on and on cold starts and downshifts before it’s completely warmed up, I’ll get burbles and pops. It makes me so happy.
Have a 7sp Badlands, and I love it. The parking brake, which has been covered here, is so annoying. It needs to be a lever or at least put the switch near the shifter.
Sound system is no bueno.
I could do with less recall notifications, especially ones without fixes available.
Otherwise, it...
Admittedly your experience was part of the reason I told them to give it back. I didn’t want it here for two weeks and then another two weeks/month next spring too.
Ah makes sense now. Thanks! Opted to hold off since the E appears close and they’ve had the Bronco for a week and I’m guessing haven’t done much other than pull skid plates based on where the vehicle is sitting/that it was driven right after I told them to wait lol.
Update. Dealership has had the Bronco since Monday. They told me they had already started with the D part so I told them to stick with it. I called today to ask for an update on timing and they said another 3-4 days. I asked them about the E part - since it exists, but they said the TSB is still...
Makes sense. Side note, realized the synchros have been updated to the E part. Called the dealer today to see if I could stop them, but they’re already knuckles deep putting in the D part. So it sounds like this will be practice for when they do it all again for me next spring.
Brought my 2022 in yesterday for the TSB fix. They printed out the TSB/fix for me and it appears the big one is replacing the 5th and 6th gear synchro rings. They said they need it for a week and admitted their transmission guy had not done one of these TSBs yet. So we’ll see. Based on the...
If you do ship, happy to pay for shipping and your time to drop them off (thinking it’s still cheaper than Amazon - I’ve been looking at these a few days now). Either way, cool thing you’re doing man!
