Does anyone know if a top will be offered "near" launch by bestop or another supplier, ideally like the twill tops offered for jeeps?
I'm sure that they will be but I guess the question is when?
anyone have an inside line on that?
I would like to get both tops but am considering just...
al full Filson interior would be cool - like they did with AEV on the JK... but most likely this will be a bunch of canvas accessories (hopefully seat covers at least).. and a Shinola Bronco watch (since Bedrock Manufacturing owns Filson and Shinola)
Body mount Sliders are a non-starter for me, I have seen enough of those damage trucks with a good hit.. Hell even my Frame mount sliders on my Defender damaged the fenders after an over aggressive hit last year. Nothings perfect but solid frame mounting is far superior.
My defenders sliders...
The winch mounts on the modular steel bumpers are pretty... well added on without much real thought it seems. they just sit out there as the furthest forward thing on the truck.
I'm am sure some of the top level companies will produce compatible bumpers for the bronco (ARB I'm sure will be one...
I'm sure if you back out of your reservation after a certain date the dealer will keep it for inventory, this is the only way they are getting any it seems right now. So yeah they will all be at a premium.
400Ft Lbs(2.7L) vs 236 Ft lbs is going to be great. Haha, I still drive my Defender everyday, well when I'm not driving the RRC with the 300Tdi (210 Ft Lbs)..
I've driven both versions of the Defender2, its nice, but does nothing for me.. They have a bunch just sitting on the lot here in...
Glad to see a fully boxed frame, tucked rear panhard, and from the looks of it a body lift will be offered in the aftermarket.
of course that depends on everything else reaching.
FWIW... the Fridge is an ARB Classic Series II 63qt, on what looks like a standard ARB slide. The Load shelf does not look like it would fit a 50qt ARB fridge. But its a good option to use the 63qt. Looks like there is also plenty of room left in the rear as well which is good.
I'm digging the...
Come to think of it I don't think I have ever seen a Base Jeep Wrangler... only the Sport S and up on the lots.
A 2021 Base 2DR Bronco 2.3L, 7spd with Sasquatch package only - would probably be a total Unicorn.
I wonder how ford is handling a configured reservation that is dropped/canceled by the customer, I would assume the dealer has first right of refusal on it. I.E. they take the configured build and sell it as dealer stock. That would make the 75% order to actual number plausible. as well as get...
What I am hoping for now is that they are just a bunch of bolts to pull out with captured nuts. Something that takes 10 minutes or so Is perfectly fine. Ideally, they would have folded to create a flat load space without resorting to a short drawer or spacer deck. I have to do this to remove...
@lowmpg thank you most helpful.. The other not so much.. yeah I already scrolled through a bunch of threads before I posted.
The Video helped out and gave me some views of how it folds and some ideas of the size of the cargo area.. the seats do not fold flat contrary to what has been said...
are there any pictures of how the 2 door seats fold? or how they are removed?
hoping there is a good amount of space with them folded and that they come out relatively simply.
thanks
Not a hard requirement, but in general its something we look at. the new defender's main issue in my eyes comes down to the suspension. Independent is fine, but the reality is that Land Rover has had 25 years to get air suspension right and they have failed. Every one I have owned (3 LR3's, L322...
