  1. Is not having sport mode a big deal?

Haha good points, i just can’t relate.
  2. Is not having sport mode a big deal?

Same here. No way sport mode is a reason to change your model, especially the features compared to the OBX and Wildtrak (wash out floors, sway bar, marine grade vinyl) I would prefer sport mode, but it’s a 5k lb truck, I live in the suburbs, it’ll be in normal or eco with the top off 75% of...
  3. Cactus Gray & Area 51 (side by side in the sun and in the shade) Photos & Videos

So far, Area 51 looks like it matches the MIC roof better than any other color. But seeing these pics I really like the cactus gray for how unique it is, despite it being pretty neutral. Excited to see them in person when they show up at my local dealer.
  4. Wildtrak makes no sense at all.

The black accents are awesome but with the MIC top, I think the badlands gray grill actually looks better. I’ve gone back and forth but Badlands with equivalent features (and sticking with marine grade vinyl) is just a better deal and too hard to pass up. Honestly my biggest annoyance is no...
  5. What trim level have you decided on?

4-door, Badlands, 2.7, Lux, Non-squatch (but upgraded wheels)
  6. Normal mode on badlands?

I think you may regret giving up sway bar, better suspension or optional high or lux packages for sport mode, unless you didn’t want those features. It’s annoying there’s no sport mode but I’m pretty sure you can put Baja into 2H if you want more throttle response. And it’s a 5k lb off road...
  7. Normal mode on badlands?

I was pretty bummed about no sport mode on badlands initially but I imagine just using normal and manual shifting gears (auto shift knob has the + / - buttons) can achieve a similar result when you need the speed. The other benefits of the badlands outweigh a sport mode.
  8. 2021 Ford Bronco G.O.A.T. Modes Explained [Video]

i thought he said you can select your goat mode and then adjust parameters from there. I apologize if I’m wrong, but I just assumed it works like the Raptor which does let you change Baja to 2H.
  9. 2021 Ford Bronco G.O.A.T. Modes Explained [Video]

cant you just put into 2H? I think raptor owners do it on pavement.
  10. Badlands stock wheels growing on me

Here’s a good pic of the stock wheels on a 4 door. I think they look great and most of us would never use the beadlock capability of the upgraded ford wheels. I’m also considering going stock and maybe getting a set of black method wheels after I scratch up the stock ones.
  11. Followed 2 Broncos and got to see Marine Grade Vinyl (MGV) Interior

i was going back and forth as well but seeing 33 inch tires in person really made my decision that they’re plenty big on the bronco 2 door or 4 door. Maybe not as good looking, but still plenty of tire.
  12. Finalizing my Badlands Build - a couple of questions

In the Bronco nation videos they say they are beadlock capable. The brand manager also repeats this to the Nashville Early Bronco channel on YouTube. Hoping the website just isn’t updated.
  13. Finalizing my Badlands Build - a couple of questions

I think the optional Badlands wheels (for 33 inch tires) are the best looking wheel available from Ford for the Bronco. $1k upgrade to get 5 beadlock capable wheels seems worth it to me and would be my choice if I go badlands non-squatch. But lots of great aftermarket options.
  14. Wildtrak makes no sense at all.

Normal SUVā€˜s don’t come with steel bumpers and steel skid plates, including most of the Jeeps on the road. Most trucks don’t either.
  15. Finalizing my Badlands Build - a couple of questions

BFG AT KO2 should be better in snow/ice as it’s an all terrain. Here’s a good video review of the tire
  16. Wildtrak makes no sense at all.

yeah that’s the issue then, I’m doing a 4 door. and enjoy that build, going to be incredible!
  17. Now with Pole: How Far Are You Traveling to Get a Bronco???

4 hours. Cleveland to West Virginia (Stephen’s Auto)
  18. Wildtrak makes no sense at all.

when I try to add sound deadening headliner to badlands it won’t work if you select 2.7l engine but does work on wildtrak. Will need to check if that changed. definitely getting high package on any model I order for the 360 cameras and body sound deadening. im still leaning badlands for the...
  19. Wildtrak makes no sense at all.

I've been sticking to a badlands (deciding between squatch/non-squatch), but with the bigger motor I lose out on sound deadening in that model and I really dont need steel bumpers/armor/sway bar for my daily driver uses and the occasional trail. But, the Badlands has nearly every feature for...
  20. Wildtrak makes no sense at all.

I think a lot of people getting their first off road vehicle with a good budget will be drawn to the wildtrak. Black accents, sport and Baja modes with big engine (speed on and off road), quieter than badlands with carpet and sound deadening options. Plastic bumpers should be less intimidating...
