I am not sure if any else has caught this but in the article the journalist states "It’s worth noting that tube doors are not offered at all on the high-performance 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor.". That statement and subsequent link in that statement are incorrect. The original Ford Authority article...
This post reminded me of the over the hood submerged D50 that I rescued out of a waterhole in Camp Springs MD back in 1983 with my 1972 Calypso Coral (AKA Code-Orange) F250 Sport Custom.
(no digital cameras then :p)
The last five of my VIN (A51507) is very close to yours and both BRAPTORs are the exact same build, however I was pushed to the 9/26/2022 build week. No further notifications from Ford. At this point from reading the other member’s posts about receiving emails for My23, I take it for me as that...
I was considering the tube doors for off road use. However, not any longer because @Ford has increased the price for the two door by 47% from last year. They are the same material and nothing added special to warrant that kind of price increase, well I guess there is always greed.
Brilliant! I have been thinking about where to mount the unit in a Bronco Raptor. It has been a challenge because the BRaptor has not arrived. The pictures I have seen of the engine area looks as though there is not enough free space to accommodate the twin compressor.
I completely understand what you are saying. Ford conveniently does not mention how many are delivered to the actual buyer as in "SOLD in customer's possession", not the dealers, not the staging areas, not in transit, not on some so called hill/mountain etc..
Ford clearly caters to that which makes them the most money and the most sales so they can have their stellar reports.; their reservation holders are bottom feeders
Perhaps the dealer didn’t process both orders at the same time (forgot one and then remembered) and now making up a plausible explanation. Just a thought
