  1. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

#11 had issues two days in a row. We know one day was some sort of accident that required some repairs. They have made up massive time. Problems can happen to the best of them. The harder you push, the more risk you take. My friend says "It’s like being in a car wreck that keeps going for hours...
  2. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

By my back of the napkin math, I think #11 has moved ahead of the Bronco.
  3. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

Seems like they are keeping all the Broncos together. Have to wonder if they are trying to do some photo finish.
  4. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

  5. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

So at the end of day one, the Bronco was only 12 minutes behind #11 Boot, and at close today, is 31 minutes ahead. Tomorrow should be interesting... Day 1

  7. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

Day 4 results are in. The Bronco has indeed moved into 2nd place by a slim margin. #11 Boot made up some serious time today! Looks like #1300 has 1st place locked up as long as nothing goes wrong. Tomorrow is the last leg of the race. It has some fast sections. I saw the Bronco hit 100mph on...
  8. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

I got nervous when I saw the Bronco bypassing this section. My friend confirmed they altered the route due to complaints of it being too soft and rough. i.e. perfect bronco terrain.
  9. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

It's worth noting that Ford isn't hyping anything. I'm not seeing anything about the Bronco being in this race anywhere. Were it not for my friend knowing I was a bronco nut, we'd all be in the dark on this. As I mentioned earlier, I suspect they picked the non-squached Bandlands specifically...
  10. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

Somehow the Bronco managed to hold 3rd in class, and moved up to 44th overall. #1300 has moved into a comfortable 1st place. #40 found their groove and put some distance between the Bronco. #11 Boot had more trouble today (@Jim Glickenhaus ?). #8118 also ran into trouble and has been limping...

I remember. Had to go to your friends house for the premium content. :ROFLMAO: Speaking of premium content. This better?
  12. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

The black bronco is a team chase vehicle. They didn't have a driver for it.
  13. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

Looks like they never started. It's a social race. Maybe it was a little too social last night. Or some bad tacos. :ROFLMAO:
  14. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

Looks like something is up with the Boot again. Bronco just passed it. 1300 has also lost ground.
  15. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

I'm assuming stock 2.7L, but I don't know for sure at this point. Hope to get more info at some point.

Wildtrack would be sassy/35's. Seems they decidedly did not want that. 35's would be a lot harder on steering, knuckles, brakes, etc.
  17. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

The vintage Broncos are doing fantastic too! They seem to be mostly in their own classes though. So many classes! Apparently solid axle broncos can go fast too!
  18. Follow the Modified Bronco Badlands (#725) running in the NORRA Mexican 1000 Race!

At this point the Bronco Badlands might doing better than the Bronco R! :p
