My out the door was MSRP +TTL and some newer state tax on vehicles to help pay for ev's was 60,122.22 2 door FE.
I put 0 down as money is so cheap right now and have a loan at 1.49% for 65 months so I'm $965.00 in payment, insurance is $1500 a year
I’m also not sure you can ship vehicles with tops for other vehicles.
I doubt they will own controlling interest, owning your own supplier would then mean they would probably be bound by UAW contract to hire UAW workers, which I am totally for but Ford don’t want to pay I’m sure.
But none of the tops have sealed edges or thicker shell material…. The claim is there are only a few hundred of us that actually have MIC tops in hand.
Can’t have have the publicity of these tops as they start to really fail in elements all over. Right now no ones has actually delaminated to a point where it looks more than “cosmetic”
It’s not an actual solution, you’ve read all the reasons they aren’t going to ship out more tops than they need to yet you continue with trash ideas. Webasto is in the business of shipping tops down the street, not the country. I doubt even Ford had logistics of shipping tops figured out...
I wonder if it’s just the sag of the panels? Mine seems to drag exactly in the middle of each window, don’t have a 4 door to know if those windows dragging as well.
