I believe the rear 4" speakers have 300Hz bass blockers integrated into them, just like the 4" dash speakers. But, if you swapped out the rear 4" speakers for Alpines, you would no longer have the bass blockers.
I have the Husky liners and above 40mph they would flap around. I bought a roll of 3M Dual Lock tape from Amazon (LINK) and addached each side of the mat to the door sill. No more flapping!
Well, that is good news! Thanks again for your help. Iāve already replaced all the front speakers and added a Kicker Key 200.4. Iām planning on a JL ACP112LG-TW1 tapped into the front speakers to get some low end oomph. I was curious if the low end signal to the sub would be reduced at higher...
@MOBRONCO are you able to tell if the factory signal changes as the volume is increased on the head unit? Iām curious if the bass to the fronts is rolled off as volume goes up to protect the factory speakers.
