I took my Base Manual Sasquatch out off roading for the first time, and I have to say, I am amazed with the capability of this thing.
I went to the Off Roadeo in NH last year and learned off roading techniques with an auto. I was worried that I would be limited with the manual.
After taking it...
I added the OEM rock rails (from Ford accessories) to my Base SAS Bronco, and it has helped the situation with rocks. I too do not like the look of running boards. I drove through rocky areas and I heard rocks hitting metal, and I presume it is the rock rails since I don't have any dings yet.
You don't need to get a lawyer. Just report to your own insurance company. They will take care of it and they will get payment from the cement truck company insurance.
I wouldn't pay $70k for a used bronco. Just place an order and get what you want. Credit unions have better rates around 5% and just bring the check to the dealer when you pick up the order.
No way, you already bought the best version in my opinion. It's already Sasquatched so no point in getting a Badlands. I sometimes wish I could have a soft top to easily roll off the top.
You don't need to remove the foam ring from the speaker, since there is no foam on the stock speaker itself. The foam is on the plastic bracket surrounding the speaker. You can reuse the entire plastic bracket on top of the Kicker speaker. There is a little gap between the bracket and the new...
Here is the only pointer I have regarding the 2-door specifically:
I used this diagram to pinpoint the snap points. This helps for both taking them off and putting it back on. Don't pull so fast from the top of the sub speaker grille, until you disconnect the 3 harnesses above the speaker grille...
Not sure if you saw my reply I previously posted, but changing to the 4ohm Kicker sub improved it a lot for me. With the 2 ohm, I had to put the bass slider all the way down or it sounded boomy and distorted. With the 4 ohm, it is much better and I can keep the bass slider in the middle (to...
I wouldn't sell a 2015-2018 Mustang since that was best looking version of the recent ones, in my opinion. They messed up the headlights after the first 3 years. And I like it more than the new 2024 model.
However, if you would struggle financially, sell it. It's just a car, and they get...
The fusion amp won’t be driven as hard with 4+4 ohm. That is probably why with the 2 ohm I had to put the bass setting all the way down, and with the 4 ohm I was fine with the default middle setting.
There is a lot of info on this subject online. You also need to consider speaker sensitivity...
Yes it was like a night and day difference. The 4ohm was much cleaner and I was able to leave the bass slider in the middle. Dimensions between the Kickers are the same.
I did not drill any additional holes. I used the existing bracket for the dummy sub, and put padding to hold the Kicker Sub...
UPDATE: I replaced the Kicker 2 ohm sub with the Kicker 4 ohm sub. In short, it sounds much better! I am now satisfied with my system. It sounds fine with the default Bass/Mid/Treble in the middle. Before, with 2 ohm Kicker sub, something was off to me. I had to set the bass all the way down or...
