Ok this is what I know. The shackle Warn uses is a WLL-4-3/4 T (3/4 In., 4.75 Ton, Galvanized Screw Pin Anchor Shackle) Jaw Opening 1.19 Inches and Pin size 0.875.
I took my old inch calipers to the Auto Show in Tulsa and measured the shackle mount. It was real close to 1 3/16 inch. So my wasq...
robepa, the drawings come from the Ford Tech System. The drawings just showed up a couple of weeks ago. Still no mechanical stuff yet.
jsharpe, should you decide to add some lights to your bike rack, which I did, I understand there are devices on the market that will give you a separate brake...
My best GUESS is it will not there are a lot of parts included with the tow package. There is a trailer tow module that is setting on top of the driver side rear wheel well that connects into the wiring harness also.
Here are a couple of drawings of the brake controller wiring. The brake signal does not come from the brake switch like in the old days it is coming from the Body Control Module. So BPP ( Brake Pedal Position ) signal may not be a off/on 12VDC signal. But Ford does include a pigtail.
Ok, this is the best I'll seen yet, straight from the Ford 2021 Bronco wiring diagrams. For sure with the towing package they will be wires for the brake controller. There are other components that are also included as you can see in the drawings. Don't know what wiring will be there if you do...
Look at my post here.

I think I have found were some of the cost of the Trailer Towing packages comes from. Looks like Ford is using variable voltage tail lights, which means one bulb for brake and parking. There is added wiring and a Trailer Towing Module that is added. Don't know how much is there if you do not...
Looks we will have to use smart diodes to connect to the tail lights. Looking at the tail light wiring diagram looks like Ford is using variable voltage brake/tail light.
A couple of points I'm working on . The D ring brackets are more than 1" wide looks like 1 1/8", will know for sure after the Tulsa Auto Show. Going in with my calipers in hand. Blue OX adapter have a 1" opening.
Probably have to use a smart diode set up for the brake and tail lights for the...
Did a close look at the Auto Show in OKC. Both units had winches mounted.
Upon close inspection the end plates on the winch are just a covers. Looks like there is enough room for the Blue Ox adapter to fit, would not be a issue to trim off some ot the end plate if necessary.
The biggie is the...
Blue Ox said they are waiting on New Bronco to build a base plate.
My plan, until Ford saids no, is to use the D-ring shackles on the modular bumper.
The Bronco shackles are wider than normal, looks like 1 1/8" the best I could measure wiithout
touching. So again my plan in to open up the Blue...
The Build and Price for A/Z is not working correctly. I noticed my OBX build price was about $350 from what I had calculated using the dealer wholesale/w hold back. Then just for grins I added the winch ($2500) to my build and the total price when down $150????
Adding up my options our more...
Talked to Ford support a few minutes ago and in-store order means your order is placed with Ford. After you convert It is not necessary to to place a order with your Build and Price at this time. All orders are temporary orders and will not be finalized until April when all of the commodities...
