Dealer called me when Bucky (my Wildtrak that my daughter named) arrived on the lot and said what do you want us to do first and I said remove all of those crap stickers. We (my family and Bucky) live in MN and stickers never last all that long here. They fade, they chip, they crack, etcetera...
I didnt even know My Wildtrak had ECO mode. I think my knob is broken because it seems to either be in Normal or Sport mode :) With the Ford Performance Tune it stays in Normal more than Sport now (mostly because my Wife now likes to ride and drive in it more because of the snowy Minnesota...
I guess I will email them. My thought was to wrap the strut body with sound dampening material. It worked in the past for a few other things on different vehicles.
We did a lot with the Bronco in 2022 but I will have to say my favorite picture was taken the day that the dealer called and said it was unloaded from the truck and on the lot. This is what they sent and 3 days later it was in my garage.
It looks like IAG has figured out how to get them to work when opening and closing the doors. It doesn't look like they have been able to get it working when dome light is turned on manually :(...
I took delivery of my 4dr Wildtrak and cant even tell you what the stock seats looked like because I never saw them. My dealer was able to order me a set of all black leather Katzkins and that is all I have ever seen. Wonder what they originally looked like :)
I know what you mean about the smell and your description captures it perfectly. After a few nights in the garage with the windows open it is barely noticeable now or I've become "Nose Blind" like in the Febreze commercials :)
With the top down it was actually better because air moves freely. When the top is up air movement is restricted to the nooks and crannies and the volume is increased. All I can say is that the ride is much quieter.
Well to say the least I am more that pleased, I am elated!!! It does keep things warmer which again was never a concern for me. It does significantly quiet down the cabin when driving!! On a windy day you either yelled to communicate with the rear passengers or waited to talk when you got the...
Thank you Mike @Dirtydog I got my Headliner today and installed immediately. Installation was easy and very fast. I'm not a freeze baby so saw never worried about keeping it warmer inside but I HATE the noise. I am praying this cuts down on the wind noise. I will let you know soon how it does on...
I would figure out how to hang it on the tailgate. I like having the floor space vs the few inches I loose by hanging it on the door. I removed the OEM rattle box and sub and placed the Kicker 500.1 there.
There are a few pre-made option but I made my own sealed box. It's a 10' Kicker Comp-R run by a Kicker Key 500.1 amp. It hangs on two aluminum cleats that fit into the vents on the bottom of the tail gate and a few metal inserts hold the top in place.
