  1. Question about fiberwerx fenders

I just happened to be browsing WC' s site, 95% sure these are Fiberwerkx fenders, looks like they are using the stock liners: https://wicked-creations.com/wc-2021-ford-bronco-3-link-suspension/

  3. Tailgate Traction Board Carrier Install Using Turn Offroad Parts

Agreed, my traction boards live in the garage until I hit dirt. Also, aren't they worried about hundreds of dollars of gear getting stolen while it's parked? Maybe the security at their local mall is tight.
  4. Tailgate Traction Board Carrier Install Using Turn Offroad Parts

The panel and mount are heavy steel, the panel is attached to the mount with M10 bolts. It feels very solid. It's designed for a 3 gallon Rotopax. Filled with water, that's 30 lbs or so, I would think it would hold a 30 lb hi-lift. I'm sure Turn could tell you the exact weight limit. You could...
  5. Tailgate Traction Board Carrier Install Using Turn Offroad Parts

They are insurance for me. I do solo trips, mostly desert. I should be able to get out of 95% of the trouble I get into with a shovel and the traction boards. I don't want to use them, but if they save me a 10 mile hike or a $500 tow one time, they will be worth it to me.
  6. Tailgate Traction Board Carrier Install Using Turn Offroad Parts

I modified the Turn Offroad Tailgate Molle Panel + Rotopax Mount to hold traction boards. I used 37" Bunker traction boards. I drilled holes in the Rotopax mount that lined up with existing holes in the traction board, then screwed on the mounting bolts provided by Bunker. I tried the Rotopax...
  7. Ford Performance Exhaust - DEEP sale

Same, looks like the exhaust was taken down from the Ford Performance website, as well.
  8. Long Travel Kit Wheel Travel VS. RCV/Spicer/Ford CV Axle Upgrade

@87-Z28 Oops, I did 350 lb/in X 4" =1400 lb corner weight, didn't take the motion ratio into account. So, working backwards, with 1" of preload, 2,400 lbs of spring force at static equilibrium / (4" travel + 1" preload) = 480 lb/in spring. That"s pretty close to the 497 lb/in spring rate...
  9. Long Travel Kit Wheel Travel VS. RCV/Spicer/Ford CV Axle Upgrade

@SierraBronco That's an impressive spring collection! I can definitely see a use case for a heavier spring if you are using a longer arm and moving around more weight. I was being kind of tongue-in-cheek about the dollars-per-inch calculation, I don't think anyone is dumping money into their...
  10. Long Travel Kit Wheel Travel VS. RCV/Spicer/Ford CV Axle Upgrade

This is moving from a theoretical discussion to an actual plan. . . Here is the Dobinsons MRR coilover for the Bronco with a 17.67" compressed length and 23.97" extended length...
  11. Ford Performance Exhaust - DEEP sale

Thanks OP and posters for discount code, I just used REDEEM126 successfully on a 2.7 exhaust! $377.53 out the door.
  12. Long Travel Kit Wheel Travel VS. RCV/Spicer/Ford CV Axle Upgrade

@crenca I got the link from this thread: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/the-ultimate-travel-guide-bronco-suspension-data-compilation.109821/ which is the first reply of the stickied thread here...
  13. Long Travel Kit Wheel Travel VS. RCV/Spicer/Ford CV Axle Upgrade

@AB8DT I have been drooling over the Vasher, APG, Baja kits, and Camburg stuff, that's why I did my little geometry exercise. I'm trying to see how many inches of travel you are buying with your $4.5-6k Baja/Camburg/Vasher. It looks like around $2,500 per inch. @SierraBronco Thanks for the...
  14. Long Travel Kit Wheel Travel VS. RCV/Spicer/Ford CV Axle Upgrade

@87-Z28 I previously saw your very helpful graphs posted on a few threads, but I did not see the original thread with the kinematics diagram, thanks for the link. You make a good point about shock travel, if the CV angle improves, but the shock travel stays the same, there is no increased wheel...
  15. Long Travel Kit Wheel Travel VS. RCV/Spicer/Ford CV Axle Upgrade

I've been looking at long travel suspensions. None of the manufacturers seem to advertise the amount of increased travel. I did a calculation to get a ballpark. Stock Sasquatch assuming 9.5” total wheel travel (a=9.5/2) and 20 degree max CV angle. The CV axle length is c. Given a=4.75 and...
  16. California FS: 5 Sasquatch Wheels + Beauty Rings + Lugs, Removed at 400 miles

Discount Tire said they needed to take off the trim rings in order to take off the tires. I think they were worried they might scratch them. I didn't reinstall them in case someone wanted to swap colors or put the beadlock rings on.
  17. California FS: 5 Sasquatch Wheels + Beauty Rings + Lugs, Removed at 400 miles

I put on Mamba M27s, very happy with them. Pics here: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/show-us-your-installed-wheel-tire-upgrades-here-pics.18511/page-236#post-2692055
