I didn't put in the led indicator, I have a base and wanted the keyfob remote start, didn't care about the alarm. Install was really easy after glovebox came out. I did not have any problems getting the connector out or the new in, only thing that I found tight was getting the zip ties around...
I would love for one of the Forscan brains to dig in on this. I get it that it will not be true dual climate but can’t believe it’s not possible for it to maintain temp. I tried writing hvac values from auto climate broncos with the same basic options as mine without success. I’m thinking...
Yes, you have to remove the wheel and mail it and the leather cover to them. There are several threads about how to remove the wheel. Removing the airbag is the creepiest part, but not really that difficult, the rest is basic tools.
Don’t know if the current prices is still the same but it was mid 300s for the options I chose. It took several weeks to receive the leather wrap, which is sent from Europe, but once you receive it, check and test fit on your wheel you send it and your wheel domestically for install which only...
Back to my original question. Why would you do it this way IF removing the lower arm bolts from the subframe reduced or eliminates the risk of seperating the CV and you don’t have to break out big bar to pry down on the suspension. IF you are replacing the upper arm I could understand but...
The center stripe is the only part of the wrap that is not super tight. Unlike the factory stripe it's not smooth with the wheel and it's not cut totally correct so the stripe is kind of crunched (more narrow) on the inside due to the curve of the wheel. All in though I'm very pleased...
Thank.you for all the replies, I'm definitely going with the lower control arm bolts.
I asked because most of the videos i found went witth uca separation and popping the axle out from the hub to let the assembly droop and then prying the crap out of the shock assembly. I did my f150 and...
Just got back and installed by base wheel I had Redline cover with leather, I’m pretty pleased with the final product. If I did it again I would probably have left off the center stripe, but I love the perforated leather at 3 and 9.
Getting ready to put non sas bilsteins on my base. I have watched several videos showing how to's, and the least popular, but seemingly easiest is to remove the sway bar and lower arm from the subframe and the shock comes right out. Is there any real downside to this vs. removing axle from...
I would guess the bags will be a large % of the cost the rest looks pretty much like unbolt, re paint and replace. You never know with insurance though, I bought a raptor that had been totaled, and spent under 4k in parts and my time and drove a great truck for 5 years
Bought some led tail lights off of eBay for my base. The lights had a small cosmetic flaw so they were heavily discounted, so far they have been perfect. Agree with keeping the halogens just in case
