  1. Marine grade vinyl in Arizona!! Is this a good choice??

Katzkin also makes cooled seat covers, though I don't know the cost. I have a Jeep Wrangler with tan cloth seats and they never get too hot or cold. I also have a BMW 3 sedan with black leatherette (vinyl) seats and it's fine in the summer, although it's not a convertible. I'm in MD where the...
  2. Is "marine grade" vinyl interior any different from vinyl of the past?

The heated/cooled covers look awesome. Probably have to go with XT leather option to make sure you have good water resistance if you want to fine with rain and rinsing it.
  3. Is "marine grade" vinyl interior any different from vinyl of the past?

I think that's only an issue if you're leaving the car outside with the top off for awhile. I had a convertible with tan leather seats and never had a problem just driving around in the sun.
  4. Gimme the White interior!!

a light colored interior must be an option. there are a lot of us who plan on open air driving in sunny environments for much of the year. you risk losing a lot of market share if you don't.
  5. Poll: Pay extra for a white top?

my initial response is f# no, i'm not paying extra for a white top. just offer it as a choice. don't nickel and dime me. like others have said, if i can customize the top via aftermarket for less, i will. you gotta know your audience.
  6. After all the deliberation, the Interior Color is the real concern

It's one thing to wait for your dark interior to cool down when the top is on. But if you are excited about this car's topless driving experience, a dark interior will be undesirable. Would just stick with my wrangler until things change.
  7. Bronco Woodie

But look at all the different colors of Wranglers on the road. Certain cars/buyers are more amenable to individual styles. Ford would have no problem selling Broncos in a broad color spectrum.
  8. Vinyl seats in daily driver

That's reassuring about the Rubicon cloth. But Im one of those who wants open air daily driving much of the year without worrying about mildew, don't want my seat to get too hot, and also wants to be able to hose off beach debris/dirt and dog hair. I'd feel much more comfortable getting the...
  9. Vinyl seats in daily driver

My son has a Jeep wrangler with tan cloth seats. Never gets hot and is very comfortable. Sprayed scotch guard on it and it has held up well, but have never been caught topless in the rain. I have a BMW 3 series with leatherette seats. Perfectly comfortable, durable and easy to clean. Still looks...
