Price protection comes from Ford based on the base price of your model trim , not total MSRP. Dealer has to request certificate from Ford via Ford’s Smart Vincent system. Dealer transaction/sell price is separate and not related.

The horn label says 20W, at 12vdc, current rating would be 1.67A. Wires are very small. 2A or 3A fuse might offer better protection.

I’m a little old school here and trying to understand the Aux switch wring. Attached is a “old school” drawing of I would typically connect a switch to a device. Can someone please show me how this relates to a Aux switch wiring. Hope this makes sense. Thanks.

You get a Vin# when they schedule you for production, usually several weeks to a month prior. Nothing to track until you get that vin#.

Mine is “in production “ now. Reserved 7/29/20.

Ford has to have some skin in the game or what happens when “parts within a year” turns into 18 months or two years! The “chip” shortage is going to be around for awhile and Ford will be tempted for sure to put all their “chips” in new vehicles.

If this is true I hope Ford and their dealers are not expecting full payment. Hold back money would be appropriate!

9:55pm, March 9. “No status”, using app. Was at my dealer today, showed me a “March 25 build date” with a history, on their computer system linked to Ford. Great news.

I reserved 7/29, ordered 3/10. OBX, HT, 2.3, Auto, LUX. dropped the TOW.

This means all build orders for March are currently scheduled which we already new so no new vin# for March. Ford is scheduling for April now. I have vin and a March build date.
