Said a bittersweet goodbye to my Tacoma and bought my base 2025 Bronco this morning. After years of wanting a Bronco it feels awesome to finally get one!
At the end of the day, this is Ford we're talking about. They don't have a fantastic track record of owning up to their engineering failures. A recent example of which are the transmission failures in the last generation Focus. That ordeal was settled by a class action lawsuit. For comparison...
Good news! Hopefully the agreement is voted on soon and production can resume. After all this, I wonder if Ford will look to open assembly plants in the South? Most automotive Southern plants aren't unionized. More than likely they'll open more plants in Mexico and overseas.
I ordered a two door Big Bend in Oxford White on August 17th, 2023. Fingers crossed UAW and Ford come to an agreement soon so that way we can all get our Broncos in 2024!
Seems only natural that UAW would target the Bronco plant. With everything else that has plagued Bronco production since the beginning. Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll get a 2025 Bronco?
It certainly won't help but to be fair, I think a lot of the Bronco's issues come from poor engineering. All the pride in the world won't solve bad design on the assembly line.
I placed an order for a two-door Big Bend the day the order banks re-opened in August. Like others said I would ask around to other dealers. Don't settle if you can help it!
I had read that advice too and wondered about letting the "turbo rest" after normal driving. This thread is full of good information. Seems like modern advances have made that practice unnecessary.
I'm a previous older holder who threw in the towel after waiting over a year. I'm hoping to put in another order once the order banks reopen. I'm torn on what color to get. I'm leaning towards Race Red because two of my Mustangs were Race Red. It was always an eye catching color and really...
