Current sales numbers put it up in 4th place. Not bad for a truck with one configuration (4 doors, short bed) and the most expensive of the group.
Also saw this quote on another site: "FCA was estimating "15% of Wrangler sales" would go Gladiator, but in Q3 that number is actually closer to 27%."
I get that 100%. I just don't understand why everything is kept under such a wrap. I would think from a Marketing standpoint it would be good to start building the hype train and preorders. When the Gen 2 Raptor came out they showed is several months before it was available and customers where...
While I hope its true as the new Gladiator is awesome (just terrible engine choices), it would be weird to have a Bronco based truck when they are going to have a Raptor Ranger. The only thing I can think of is the Bronco Midsize is more rock crawler and the Raptor Ranger is desert racer.
There are Dealers on the forums that are selling them 7% below invoice if your willing to order one and then go pick it up from them. Ford dealers will be worst. Just look at what Raptors where selling for.
Year over year sale are down for the first time in years for the Wrangler and multiple dealerships are selling for 7% below invoice on them. The only reason 2018 was as good as it was was do to it being the first year of the JL and there was pent up demand from past Wrangler owners wanting to...
The good news it Chevy released the Blazer and Ford execs got to see first had the public's reaction to using the Blazer name on a CUV.
I hope GM enters the market as Jeep just came into their market with the Gladiator, and we could use more competition to drive prices down. Have you looked at...
I'm a current JKU Wrangler owner and did not buy the JL as I'm waiting on the Gladiator, so I dont think everyone looking to go off-road will buy a Wrangler instead. I do agree it might steal some Wrangler sales, but I had no intention on buying another Wrangler, if any thing I was looking at...
the problem is a true convertible wont happen due to crash regulations. Even the new Wrangler will have this new removable panel system. However if done right roof structure that is left will just look like the sport bar on the current wrangler.
Its funny everyone harps on Jeep being sub build quality but JD Power ranks Ford even worst for 2016:
My 2013 JKU has been awesome minus a couple of little things (heated passenger seat went out after warranty, front diff leak covered by warranty) With that said, my family has only owned...
My JKU Hard Top was never removed when I lived in Vegas, but now that Im in Boise and have 70 degree days it comes off. The problem with the current JKU hard top is I can not take it off by myself. Its too large and awkward. So when I do take it off its with the intention of leaving it off for a...
Yea Diesel is coming in 2019 in both the JL and JT. The 2018 JL will at first be released with the Turbo 4cyl and upgraded V6 Penstar.
I really think it will be a HUGE mistake on Ford's part if they dont do some type of removable top, and 2 door and 4 door versions. The 2 door only with fixed...
If its a 2 door only it wont last aka the Toyota FJ Cruiser.
Jeep currently sells more 4 door Wranglers then 2 Door ones by large margins. If Ford doesn't appeal to this demographic the Bronco will be a flop at pulling Wrangler buyers from Jeep. As someone who owned a FJ and now owns a JKU I...
Yea I'm excited to see the Bronco come out as it might put more pressure on Jeep to correct some of the most common complaints on the Wrangler, but in order for that to happen the Bronco has to have all the same elements of the Wrangler (removable top/panels, real off road capabilities, 2 & 4...
Just my opinion but I think the Wrangler pick up will be one of the most interesting in the market. It will have removable top/panel, removable fenders for a verity of aftermarket ones, will be solid axel for better offroad strength, and with the rumored new engine choices (4cyl turbo, V6...
