Still working through but a couple things I’ve noticed so far:
-In the video from Motor1 the shifter appears to have (at least for a truck/suv) a pretty short throw=more fun to row ??
-He didn’t seem to be shifting a whole lot so the 2.3 must be pretty tractable.
-The article from Cars.com kept...
I’m really confused as to why Ford wouldn’t just bring their Everest SUV here and call it the Bronco Sport. It’s also based on the Ranger and as such would have parts interchangeability and is such a better looking rig than the Sport. And like the Ranger, they build it overseas with a diesel and...
Statistically statistics can be easily skewed. As a firefighter I go by mine and my coworkers experience and that says that they increased accidents in general. The fact that they were owned and operated by out of state private companies with only a small portion even staying in the city tells...
Right?! It’s 2020 and we got Elon Musk sending people to space but I still gotta sit at a red light for 5 minutes at 5:00 in the morning with no traffic in sight. For the money they wasted on red light cameras (which thankfully have been taken down here) they could have come up with a system...
It’s that place just past Monkey Jungle with the race track and Cuban food right before you hit the Keys ?. Used to race down there so that’s all I remember of it.

I’m just talking about manual equipped vehicles in general. Most people buy off the lot or from available regional inventory because they don’t want to wait and pay more by ordering something. It’s a flawed system that’s artificially dictating market preferences through lack of availability...
Not to be a downer but I don’t think they ever actually made the transzilla in 4x4. Too expensive. They do say that their gear boxes are custom built to order so it’s worth checking but I’ve seen people say they were quoted $9k for a 2wd version.
I was looking under the hood of a new Ranger yesterday and, unless the Bronco is considerable wider, I don’t think a Coyote would fit. I’m mean I’m sure it could be made to fit but it would be like a new Superduty where it’s easier to take the cab off the frame to work on.
I test drove and wrote a pretty long review of a 2.3 Ranger yesterday (It’s in the drivetrain forum) and it’s impressive. TFL tested a crew cab 4wd like I drove at 7.4 0-60. Don’t know if anyone else recalls but back in the day the baddest trucks on the road were the Chevy 454SS and Ford...
