Thanks for the scouting update, your eyes are better than mine if you can make out bronco's in that picture. I'm checking with my dealer now to see if they can confirm my bronco at alliance in their system.
I think Ben is right, this is what will organically kill the remaining reservations as people abandon them for a normal retail order or a stock unit. Now if enough of them flip to retail and stock units, it may help those that remain.
If production does truly run at full volume, there will...
FYI my build shipped on 10/5, and the rail car made it to alliance rail yard outside of ft worth on 10/12. It may take a few days to truck it out if there to the dealer, but the train journey only took a few days.
If it is coming through Agusta/Wichita KS, I think that line goes through gainesville and denton. My town is between those, with a few rail crossings right in town. It's tempting to try and catch it on the roll - correction, it is a Union Pacific line (Blue) that passes through town. BNSF is...
I think I’m on a later train from 10/5 or later, don’t have the rail car # but saw a screen shot of the transit my dealer sent me sat afternoon. It showed Chicago, having come from near Fort Wayne IN.
For the NTX guys, I accidentally ordered 2 sets of the Torx plus bits needed for the bumper...
Because factory tow was a constraint early on when many of our orders got converted to VINs and could not be changed without losing place in line. Also the ford retrofit version is not 'factory clean' with the harness splicing. This is a pretty good quick and cheap 4 pin solution, you could...
I ordered the bumper fog light mounts on Monday and they arrived yesterday. Very sturdy (.375" or 3/8" thick) and good textured powdercoat on them. Will see how they fit once the truck comes at the end of the month. I am planning just one pod, maybe a baja designs squadron on each side, to...
How clean will you be able to keep it? AMB needs to be shiny clean to be good. I have a dark patriot blue ram 2500, gorgeous when clean, but nothing special when dusty or dirty. Just dirty near black.
Tire weights below - Ford did a good job spec'ing a really light tire.
Wrangler MT 315/70/17 is 52lbs
Nitto ridge grappler 315/70/17 is 70lbs, 35x12.5x17 is 75lbs
BFG KO2 315 is 62lbs, 35x12.5 is 66lbs
Very informative without the standard youtuber fluff. Good showing the ranger/bronco differences. The wheel/tire weight is serious, and that is with a light 35" goodyear. A toyo or nitto will have you deep into the 90/100lb range. Thats nbd for big trucks, but is a lot of stress to engineer...
