Hey that’s still hundreds. Thirty-five hundred!
Seriously though, the snarky replies about how I’m not up to speed on how many are sitting there is really irrelevant to my question. I don’t have the time to spend hours and hours a day on this forum to stay up to date on all the numbers.
Even better. Whats the best estimate as to how many vehicles are sitting awaiting tops? I've seen the pictures but I apologize for not knowing how many.
I’ve been reading through the manual to try and educate myself on my Bronco that has been built but is stuck on MIC dirt mountain, and noticed some interesting information that Ford has included.
On page 366 in the section on “Storing Your Vehicle” it mentions several interventions that should...
Great, thanks. I’ll check that out. That’s been another question of mine- who makes a high quality high-level converter.
Yes, one amp will be a four channel and a second for a sub.
I’ve searched and have been unable to get a simple answer to this question- What are the options at this point for wiring an amplifier or amplifiers to the stock head unit, other than utilizing a high level to RCA converter? I’m assuming the stock head unit does not have RCA outs. I appreciate...
Kind of off topic but since you posed the question…
I used to ride dirt bikes when I was younger and I had a lot of fun- I was lucky to have never been seriously injured. I support people doing things they love to do though, even when they are dangerous and would never tell someone not to ride...
Making enough soft tops to swap with all of the MIC tops isn’t something that can be done quickly. Could take close to the same amount of time as Fords solution of waiting to ship when the new MIC is installed.
Theres really just no good solution at this point. The problem should have been...
Not that I don’t think it’s great you have a Bronco to protect the paint on,
but I couldn’t help but “laugh” a bit reading this post when thousands of our Broncos will be sitting in a dirt lot exposed to the elements, bird poop, etc for about three months while they await the new top.
Parking a vehicle in a dirt lot exposed to the elements for a month is less than ideal, but sitting for three months? There HAS to be some undesirable effects to this. I wonder if Ford has plans to mitigate these effects as best they can?
This was one of my first questions as well as a 7/23 blend. I messaged with my dealers sales manager today and was told that my vehicle has been built and I do not have the option to switch to a soft top. He was supposed to be having a conference call with his zone manager today but that call...
You’re right, I shouldn’t be surprised. It’s my first custom ordered vehicle so it’s all new to me. I’ve always been one to shop around until I find the vehicle with the options I want at the dealer and buy it straight off the lot.
Anyone seen what they have been selling for on eBay? FE going for almost $100k, base has sold for $50k. Hell, some have even sold without being built yet!
I know there has been some dealer markups but it’s insane that people are willing to overpay to this degree. And some willing to overpay for...
I think we all should flood his Twitter account with messages about our frustrations regarding the lack of communication and his repeated canned responses. I’ve already messages him myself.
If every member on this forum messaged him once, I think it would send a clear message.
Looks like the post was deleted from earlier in this thread. It was the first I had read anything about versions of the MIC. If true and the date was known, if might help explain why certain MIC tops are being held back. Trying not to over analyze but I think we are all just trying to figure out...
