I still chuckle at the absurd prices of the Gladiators when they released a bit back. That was brought down a notch fairly quickly when they sat on the lots.
We'll see how the options pan out for each trim. If I had to choose between more offroad hardware and the mid package, there's nothing in there I couldn't do without. I'm saying this from the standpoint of it not being my daily driver though.
All I really care about at this point. Knowing the options out there is the only way I know I can solidify my decision. I've given up trying to speculate and cross reference packages or whatever at this point. I'm pumped, but will be even more so once I know what my final configuration will be...

That's weird, but might also explain the huge price difference between 2dr and 4dr models compared to other trims...So 4dr is locked out of manual huh....and laj.texmuk confirmed no rubber+drainplugs option for the base. Bummer.
It looked like they came with padded bags for storing in the rear with handles on the top. Those should make it easy to store in the garage. I'm not sure why I'm having such a hard time finding a picture right now of it, but maybe someone else will come across it before I do.

This is a simple fix @Its_OJ, get him the base and add the sasquatch package. Basesquatch is far from the minority here. If your father doesn't want to rock 35s on a lift from the factory I'm sure Ford will offer plenty of options. I'd wait until the configuration tool is out to cast judgement...
And this is for both the base and the black diamond, but I can't be the only one who thinks that the yellow marker lights in the grille are superior to the horseshoe "signature lighting" that halo's?
