AMB is much darker in person, and it very nearly looks black in certain lighting situations. Hence the concerns about it “clashing” with a painted black top.
Ford is giving you options. Not everyone prefers 35’s. If the BL came standard with 35’s they would just charge more anyways. I’m glad to have the 33” option
All the same, I would hope you don’t have to be “too” careful about it. It defeats to convenience of the washout interior if you are having to baby it
Like a few others here, I will use a credit card for the down payment:
- if the dealer doesn’t impose a fee to do so
- only to the extent that I can pay the card balance off entirely that same month

I feel ya... I flip-flop between BL and BD every day! While I could technically afford the BL, it doesn’t mean that I should pay for the extra features that I probably don’t really “need”.
15 years ago I bought a used Wrangler. It broke down all the time, had intolerable NVH, steered like a refrigerator, and couldn’t even hit 70mph unless you were going downhill with the A/C turned off and had the wind at your back. I still weirdly regret selling it and made a lot of fond memories...
