Yep this is exactly what I did. Now, I have found out 4x4truckled has a different harness with a cleaner backlight but connector instead of t-tap wires.
I’m going to buy this this summer and re-wire the lights up for a cleaner look.
I’m going need to pick up this. I’m using Diode’s wiring harness for my SS3 ditch lights. Wasn’t crazy about the t-tap wiring and how I had to do it to wire to aux 6.
Use the one of the t-taps they provided to connect one backlight wire to the other. Then, take that wire and use a butt connector to connect into whichever aux switch you want.

I definitely need to buy some door sills. They look to be top-notch quality.
Any plans for exhaust for the 2.3L engine? Your teaser for the 2.7L sounds great.
SoI took some screenshots from a thread showing what the headlight assembly wiring looked like in a manual book. I can send you a pic of what I took.
As far as bumpers go…I’m debating going aftermarket since the HD mod bumper isn’t a simple bolt on for us plastic bumper folks. I do plan to...
my kit came the separate lines for the backlight (blue wires). They provided red t-tap connections to be able to t-tap into the headlight’s parking wires. I just didn’t want to go that route. I wasn’t sure about my state laws or desire to always have them running like I see 4Runner’s do with...
I plastidipped my Bronco emblem. Temporary to see how I like it before doing something permanent. I have a gloss black and bronze theme going on with my AMB color.
