The spec’s say the difference should be 6% in gearing loss. It felt more like 10% overall. The SAS wheel/tire combo is about 6lbs heavier, and it is all in the wheel - tire is the same weight. What I feel more is the loss of gearing.
Enabling sport mode brought the acceleration feel back to...
No lift needed for 35s if you are not wheeling hard. I bolted up sas takeoffs to my 2dr badlands and no rubbing in any street driving. If you are cycling the suspension hard then think about sas suspension, or a level or small lift.
A - 2.3L with Manual transmission = Yes

For badlands owners, the bartact dozer yellow paracord color is a very good match for the interior accents. The other orange color they have is not even close.
I was looking at these, similar to the Yakima load platforms. Saw 2 of the older models (48x56 and 60x56) on clearance for $250. No bronco specific fit kits, so you will need to get creative with mounting hardware.

2.3 manual badlands here, started on 33's. The power is good when on boost. Also the torque in gear, like 6th on the highway at 70+ is very good, no need for downshifitng to climb hills etc. Same with 3-4-5 around town, you can stay in one gear, and anywhere above 2000rpm it will build boost...
I think mine has done it a handful of times in about 1800mi. it's so infrequent I think it's just me messing up the clutch release because the pedal is so light.
You have to tell the module you have a bigger tire. So if you have 2580 in that field, increase it to 2600 for example. For just 3km/h, try increasing the circumference by just 20-25mm. 50mm will move it too much.
The electric steering rack may also have some calibrations to mask scrub radius differences, if not different settings for base, badlands. sas. When I switched from badlands to sas wheels (55->30 ET), there was no seat of the pants change in the steering effort, feel, kickback etc.
FYI on the bartact handles, the neon orange paracord is not a match for the badlands orange trim. It probably needs to be dozer yellow if you want to match. I am going with graphite on my re-order of the handles for now. Nice pieces otherwise.
On a trip from north texas to south dakota last week, saw 2 4drs on I35,I29. On the local country highways near me I am seeing 1-2 a week now, but mine is the only 2dr I have seen that was not a mannequin.
Yeah, the beeps. clicks and warning chimes when flashing updates are pretty common on various cars. Usually the program will clear any errors that are thrown from the flashing, but it is also good practice to run your own code scan and clear after the updates are done.
Started riding at 40, 16years later and a few bikes have these currently. Don’t really street ride anymore, and have been tracking the Duc. Will prep the 675 for track next season.
I went budget route with some rough country pods. The amber drl they have actually looks good in the bumper. Less lumens, than the big brands, but very reasonable cost. The range is about the same as the high beams. Going to try their sae fogs also. I used the g&g double pod bracket in the...
At stock badlands height, there is a lot of roll even with the sway bar, at cornering/highway speeds. The bilsteins slow the motion down and keep it damped, but there is significant pitch and roll. Similar to what I felt in JL, JT rubicon test drives, but with better damping. I would not...
High package - I have mid, and should have gotten it for the surround cams and 12" screen. I have the 12" in my SD and it is a nice step up in functionality. Cant be added aftermarket , so if you are on the fence, get it.
SAS - would have been nice from the factory, but can be...
