Here’s the response from ARB:
“Hello, you will need to rewire the brushless I am afraid. The connectors are a bit different, and the new compressor has some additional safety features built into it so there are some additional wires in the harness on the brushless vs the older brushed models...
Appreciate the quick response. I reached out to ARB support for clarification. Not willing to drop $900 on a preorder if I have to get a new mounting solution as well.
Is the mounting configuration the same as the other twin? I have your under-hood bracket. Could I reuse it for the brushless version if I upgrade?
What about wiring? Can I simply remove the old compressor and drop this one in place and use the same wiring?
Guessing that's also the M2M flip up shelf you have there. What about if you had just that installed, would the TLP work then? If you flip it up is there enough room?
I have the other model of the Top Lift. I think it's the called the Venture lift, it's designed a little differently and I'm...
Really interested in that swing out tire carrier. To clarify, it’s connected to the tailgate so when I open the tailgate the swings opens as well? It’s not a separate operation?
Also, what’s the weight capacity on the swing out?
I think mine is starting to do this as well. Has anybody received a replacement with the headliner installed? I seem to remember seeing the newer headliners and them looking terrible.
Why do people care how other people use their vehicle? So what, guy doesn’t go offroad. Maybe he thinks it’s a cool looking car so he wanted to buy it. The overwhelming majority of people that buy Broncos aren’t going to be off-roading them.
I finally found a solution that I liked.
Mounted a KC Flex Era 1 to this bracket. Fairly low profile and works perfectly. I’ll post some pics tomorrow if I remember.
