I sold my new Badlands SAS wheels (but not the OEM tires) for $650 a couple of months ago. Probably took a few weeks from posting in the forum to sale, and didnāt get many inquiries. I probably could have sold for closer to 800 or 900 if I was more patient, but wanted to get rid of them. Iām in...
Yeah, see my later post. I was able to test this out. Once you lock the vehicle (at least with the remote) and walk away, after about 20-30 seconds the door lock/unlock button doesnāt work (when Switch Inhibit is turned on).
Also confirmed that if someone tries to force the door locks open...
IAG just announced a new design tailgate table. Very similar to the Broaddict version from what I could tell (right down to the bottle opener). Maybe from the same manufacturer/factory...
Yes, it looks like itās the Auto Hold Feature thatās available on other Ford models. It basically holds the brakes when you come to a full stop even after you release the brake pedal. You would use this in city driving at red lights and other places where you may be stationary for a minute or so...
Confirming that I got this to work with just the two Forscan changes listed earlier in the thread. Didnāt do the PCM relearn. Already making for a more enjoyable drive in morning traffic.
Question: is there a way to enable ābrake holdā (truck maintains brake even with foot off the pedal), for...
I made the Forscan changes on my 2023 Badlands 2.7 with LUX. I didnāt do a PCM relearn because I didnāt get any error messages.
Is the relearn procedure a feature of the Forscan software? Also, any other consequences to the relearn? Haven't tested out the stop and go yet, but hoping to avoid...
I have the Curt folding trailer basket. Have to use a 4ā inch hitch drop to allow the rear gate/spare tire to clear. But otherwise works great. Used it on a camping last month and it helped with hauling our tent and portable griddle. Its easy enough to remove, so I donāt keep it permanently...
I have the V1 version where the step is level with the top of the rock rail on my BadSAS. Getting in and out is now way easier for me and the rest of the family. Has held up well over the first 1500 miles or so - looks to be well made with a very durable coating.
Would the front/rear fog switch you referred to work on a 2023 Badlands with Lux/HD bumper? My ultimate plan is to tie front fogs (likely Diode SS3s) to the front fog witch and one day rear chase lights to the rear fog switch. I understand that may require some additional wiring to get the rear...
I think I know the answer to this, but are there any off-road trails in the Santa Monica Mountains or Santana Susana Mountains? Iām located in South SF Valley and was hoping there were some local trails within 30-45 minutes driving distance. I get the sense most of the nearby mountain trails are...
Ah, this should be the solution. I either didnāt have switch inhibit enabled in settings or I wasnāt waiting the required ~20 seconds post locking for it to kick in. With this, it should make the rear trunk with a security enclosure much more useful (as long as I remember to lock the vehicle)...
When I tried this with my daughter remaining in the car after locking the doors (via key fob), she was able to manually unlock from inside and open doors. No alarm. I wonder if the car senses that there was an occupant still in the vehicle?
Iāll try your approach in a bit. If it does set off...
So if thatās the case, the trunk āsecurityā enclosures are essentially meaningless if youāre running the vehicle topless. Once someone is in the car, they donāt have to worry about being blocked from accessing the trunk from the top or by folding down the back seats. They just unlock the car and...
Last night someone ābrokeā into my Bronco. It is almost always parked in the garage, but last night I left it outside on the street because our other car happened to be blocking the driveway. Pure laziness on my part which I now regret. Iām pretty sure I locked the Bronco as Iām a creature of...
Iām going to Pismo next month mainly for beach camping but will definitely hit the off-road area. I am new to all this wheeling stuff so apologies for the novice questions:
1. What would you say is bare minimum recovery gear I need to take with me? I have Rhino USA tow shackles and 4-inch tow...
