I bought the Broaddict "bead lock" trim rings in "yellow" (which is actually Badlands Orange). They weren't that expensive, wonderfully finished, and I didn't have to pay a deposit and return my OEM rings to get my deposit back (I forget what the name of the company is that required that...)...
This is EXACTLY what I will be doing. Yes, saw those caps on Amazon; have to find them again and order.
Edit: found them ordered them.

I, too, have an EGM Bronco. But it's name has nothing to do with the color: Steamboat.
Unoriginal, I'm sure. But it fits. And no one east of the Mississippi would have any idea why.... Which I like.
Thanks for the excellent write-up! Like you, kayaks and cargo racks to be atop once installed.
Having in hand, the only I don't like is how unfinished the front mounts are. C'mon, Hooke Road, some plastic covers are needed; I don't need to see or have to like the exposed bolts. I may have gin...
How do you like the Hooke Road? I just bought one and haven't installed it yet. It seems really, really nice. Much nicer than the Broaddict rack that is currently on my BL Squatch (which I have fallen out of love with; hence, the Hoole Road rack).
They're just keeping up the tradition of British automotive QA. So the downtime is a feature they willingly paid for and not a bug. Standard even, not an optional feature. No one can say Tata isn't generous! 😉
Huzzah!
Not to be contrarian, but AMB has been independently verified as the absolute best looking color for the F-150 Tremor.
Eruption Green is the one that has been independently verified as the absolute best looking color for the Bronco.
See here.

I see the schooling in LA is up to snuff.
Just kidding. Too good an opportunity not to take! All in good fun.:thumbsup:
And as for @CoolContractor..., total it, get a new vehicle, and go the "salvage title" route for your crunched Bronco (if available where you live).
Neighbor of mine...
MGV reminded me of the 73(?) Ford Torino wagon my dad had. Hated vinyl then. Hate it now. I'd put canvas Jeep 1/4-ton military seats (shout out to my old M151A2!) in my Bronco before even considering vinyl.
The only vinyl I enjoy these days are of the 33 1/3 variety.
@MudDiggerDesignCo has some nice covers. Maybe something like this?
(I ordered two covers from the company. Haven't yet received them so I can't yet speak to quality. But I don't think I'll be disappointed. Quite the opposite, I think!)
Can't believe I find myself (a Buckeye) in agreement with @BroncoBrian and @Umichigan1! What is this world coming too! But when you're right, you're right. And I think both of you are right! 🍻
Anyway, "Go Bucks! O-H!"
(Btw, "Go, Bucks!" is just another reason why I like the "Buck, buck...
I was gonna reply and say that this happens at least once per month on all four of my recent Fords. Usually fixed by pressing the lock then unlock buttons on the fob. We're using aftermarket fobs so the smaller battery or them not being OEM might contribute, but regardless, it's a simple fix...
