I like that Diabolical slide drawer. Seems like a more reasonable version of the goose gear system at a fraction of the cost ($1500 vs $4000+). Do you basically have to give up the under-floor storage where the jack is? Debating if I should just fork over the $1500 or just make my own platform...
I'm surprised that you didn't directly link to your application youtube video. I'm sure that's what most people on this website will be wanting to see.
Hey deep sleep. I think I over inflated my bronco pads with the air pump because they don't stay inflated throughout the night. It's not a huge deals since the foam is still nice and comfy but would be nice to fix it. I didn't immediately see any obvious leaks. Should I use the soapy water...
I just want it to be on par with my gladiator, not discernibly worse. Maybe that’s an unfair comparison though because wranglers have been around for a lot longer?
Hey @OracleLights, where am I supposed to put the self tapping screws? I tried over 6 different spots and all but 1 had a metal plate behind it preventing the installation. I am fully aware that there is a metal reinforcing plate on the backside of the plastic but I made sure to go around that...
This is probably the closest you'll get as far as something that exists today: https://xgcargo.com/products/overload
Probs not the right dimensions though nor it is "cut resistant" as you requested.
I made a video on these. A couple of notes worth sharing:
The combo memory foam + air is what really makes these mattresses comfortable to sleep on. Beats the pants off either material solo. Just wanted to share since some people are saying “just cut up a memory foam” or “I already have an air...
Jeez how is that video 11 minutes long? I feel comfortable unsubbing now, knowing that if anything important comes up related to the bronco, it will be posted on here in text so I can read in <1 min.
Do you think this could be used as an attic above the rear seats? There are some bolt holes on the sides and top of the roll cage that you could screw some small eyelets into. Do you think your net would stretch enough?
Something like this but yours would be cheaper and possibly tighter to the...
My dash cam is a lot bigger so it blocked the auto-dimming sensor on the back of the mirror so it would think it's night time during the day. I had to move my dash cam down. Looks like I need to invest in a smaller dash cam. Only downside to this setup is I can't use the sunshade with a dash cam...
Pretty good setup you have there. I have the hard top so implementation wouldn't be identical. But you bring up a good point. If I have the rear glass up, I could put the netting on the outside instead of inside. That way I could use some magnets on the rear quarter pannels. If I am recalling...
Thanks. There were plenty of pictures of deep sleep bronco floating around on the internet but no videos showing setup and teardown so I decided to make my own so people can buy with more confidence.
If deep sleep ever figures out how to make a rear tailgate bug screen for the bronco, I'd wager...
It looks like you mounted yours in different holes than OP. Am I seeing that correctly? So rather than using those side facing holes that you have your grab handles in, you used holes on the top of the roll cage? Thanks for the pics!
Looks like it hangs down a bit when stuff is put in it which is fine. I have the hard top too; can you cinch it up flat against the roof when it's not being used to hold things? I don't want any rear seat passengers getting distracted by empty netting that's hanging down. Do you have a pic of it...
I just bought and tried OP's case and mounting location. Doesn't open big enough on my hard top with headliner. I guess now I'm going o try this one instead.
